It was being reported that Melbourne want to keep Kamakamica and extend him, but the parties were struggling to come to terms. Think if he's got a better deal elsewhere, Melbourne will let him go, especially with Pahulu coming. NAS is overrated, but also, that isn't to say I wouldn't take him. He's a big body that can draw defenders in which we need. He's just a bit soft in all honesty, he doesn't use his size to it's potential and his tough guy act is just that, an act.Says he has a Club Option for 2026.. surely the storm will take that up, therefore he cant be talking to any other club?
NAS is more the one we know is on the outer there, but he also has a damn long contract, a Mutual Option in 2028.
The thing is we still have a lot of funds for 2025 to spend yet.. but who is out there thats on big coin that will leave in the next 4 weeks?
Playing for us he will be suspended most of the season aswell.. pass from me.It was being reported that Melbourne want to keep Kamakamica and extend him, but the parties were struggling to come to terms. Didnt he assault a women in Brisbane? The case just strangely stopped being reported on after being delayed in feb 22. Would love to know if anyone has seen an outcome... sounds like newscorp fixed that up.Kamakamica has an option in his contract for '26. Although I don't think he gives us exactly what we need on field, he's still going okay and the main thing would be that from all reports he's a very good professional. Currently, the young forwards don't really see this level of professionalism from another forward when they come in to training every day.
Either one tbh, I just think we need a kill and an enforcer so the kids like Couchman and Stewart and Tonga dont have to be...It was being reported that Melbourne want to keep Kamakamica and extend him, but the parties were struggling to come to terms. Do you happen to have ANY good news RE incoming signings mate?Dragons were too late to the party for Pahulu , was already deep in negotiations with Melbourne before we even entered the race
What an absolute shit show our recruiting isDidnt he assault a women in Brisbane? The case just strangely stopped being reported on after being delayed in feb 22. Would love to know if anyone has seen an outcome... sounds like newscorp fixed that up.
But yeh no thanks
One of your better moments on here to be honestHere's Flanno trying to get the printer fired up.
Or the couple that go in, look around for a while, don't say a word to the agent, kick a few tyres for a few weeks and then call the agent with a low ball offer only to get told the house sold three weeks agoWhat an absolute shit show our recruiting is
Bit like the couple that go to the weekly auction and bid on all lots early knowing they are never a hope
The Pahulu news was in the media for some weeks , then it was down to Two
Then someone from our Club blurts out " we may make an offer for the Titan forward "' blah blah
Amateur Hour
Unfortunately not , I have heard cricketsDo you happen to have ANY good news RE incoming signings mate?
This shit is beyond depressing that we still havent improved the shit roster we have for this year
Smoke signals. Are we still using a fax machine when putting forward a contract to player managers?
thats a shameDragons were too late to the party for Pahulu , was already deep in negotiations with Melbourne before we even entered the race
Wind must be blowing in the wrong direction whenever we send up those smoke signals. Need to tell Twiggy to crank up those wind turbines and point them in the correct direction whenever we are ready to make an offer for a player.Smoke signals.
The likes of Pahulu are who we should be chasing.....we should rely on our juniors to supply solid first graders and look for players with a point of difference & X factor from our imports. Sick of us chasing aged rejects from lower placed clubs.thats a shame
Did realise the Storm had a spot in the 30 for this year
he would add real punch off the bench.........only just returned from injury and only just tured 21yrs old
good future ahead of him
