Being realistic!!! Two new clubs coming in managers are not locking their players into anything long term they will see what is on offer first.

He hasn’t debuted yet they will see what interest there is once he plays first grade its common sense.

Halangahu only extended 3 months ago, Top30 from next year, if they wanna bring him in early cause we have the space ok.. but I personally think its fine as is, Nick is the next guy in line for Top30... he doesnt even have a Top30 contract afaik.

I also don't think Halangahu is as ready as commentators made out, coming in to cover first grade injury sure by all means, but his style of getting PCM also results in extremely slow play the balls.. his raw physics are fascinating, but hes still an 18yr old baby trying to figure it all out..

I am still angry however that we didnt play either Jacob or Nick in the 2nd row last week instead of Toby.. understanding that missing out on origin camp for Jacob would have been a big ask.

It beats me bigredv. We just let 'em go when they want and we get stuff all in return. It's like working 40 hours on the job and not getting paid for it. Surely the Dragons have got someone coming their way in repayment. Latu has a back problem and the Dogs will look after him so I guess the Dragons wont wear any of that cost. I bet Latu is feigning the real extent of his injury because crook backs are reasonably hard to diagnose and fooled the Dragons into releasing him early and you watch he will be running with the Dogs in a few weeks time. I like my conspiracy stories hahaha!

I’m pro Flanno but he definitely screwed the Latu one up. The club had 6 months to sort it out then they moved when it was all over red rover. Flanno wears this one

Nick T is also out of contract this year. Considering he debuted recently you’d think the club will move their ass and re sign him asap or someone else will swoop in and it be Latu mark 2. Time will tell if Flanno has learnt his lesson or not
