Regarding Stewart and/or a FB. , personally I think Gutho is doing a job and will hold that position until someone from cup or Flegg steps up!

I don’t think we’ll target someone from that position..

regarding a winger. Definitely need an origin prospect or player.. Shibasaki could be forced out, though is a centre. Not winger.. . Sloan, Finau, Allan ARE NOT the answer. CT is great with Feagai able to do a job (has improved under Flanno) or Holmes to wing with Shiba to start centre.. with guys like Jesse Williams . Hayden Buchanan , Ramsey to step up!

Regarding a half, needs to be experience (though only few years left of career) as Reed will eventually partner LKT,Atkinson.

Forwards is where the killer blow needs to come from! This is OUR MUST for 2026.

1 marquee & 1 decent impact player to replace Klem (done a good job, may get another year) , Lawrie (hopefully someone grabs him) , Molo (been ok but times up) , Fifita (could get re signed as still raw) to complement LPT, Stewart , Egan, Tsogranis, , Hanagalu Etc.

Club fault for being soooo poor for so long! Not a coaches fault! Atleast we’re swinging! Haven’t done that in the past! (Hunt) the only “big name” .. NOW, finally with a proper recruitment manager should be easier to land those punches!

someone has to take Sloan, Rava and Lawrie. Rava used to be quite good so what has happened there? Sloan why haven't they managed to coach better defense into him? Lawrie - no comment.

You would hope someone does!
good? Defence was always poor and handling wasn’t great! Used to run like a tank, that’s all.
Sloan has been given ample time to bulk up & learn how to defend & jump when the balls in the air. Coaching only gets you so far, need talent and no fear to do the rest

Any half cannot play behind a pack who highest meter eater in the forwards most weeks is Klemmer at 120!!

Shane Millard is the Flegg coach this year.. but I imagine once his contract finishes they will move him on (not sure when that is). Ian Millward might be a harder one as an old boy, the main thing is he is just kept out of the way.

The other one is Haran who (as GM) is also involved in contract talks.. hopefully he is the final piece for Watsford to move out.. not sure if they have had time to look at a GM replacement yet.. think recruitment is the focus for us, so Daniel Anderson was critical.... hope he can work fast..

The constitutional change to keep the Chair on for 3 years is a massive, massive change for the Club. Even more so that Lancaster will continue in the role for a further 3 years despite already being the Chair. This at the very least means the Board appears collegial.

Also to note, the masthead who broke with story is the SMH - who Nine own, but the article states the club are looking for a half. Fancy that, the CEO and the Chair on the same page - surely not at the Dragons.

Hoping Canberra agree to a release things like this never seem to happen for us but when it comes to us we are too nice & agree to a release.

It’s also clever messaging to take the heat off Kyle and Shane…….. given Shane made the mistake of saying his son was one of the best in recent rounds

for now KYLE needs to play half so LKT can keep evolving without ridiculous pressure and still better by a nose vs Glover or Ilias game management

but if we get into the club Chevy Stewart and Sandon Smith that would be helpful
