There was a report that the club was keen to keep him but based on him touring Canberra facilities I don’t think he is keen on staying

Is Mooney a big upgrade on our other young fwds? He's been passed by multiple raiders players now. Something seems off. Ditto with Stewart, who I've heard has questionable defence & is a bit of a flashy inconsistent type player.

We're finally going to get a clean slate with our salary cap & don't need it to be tied up into avg-solid type players again. Our fwd depth coming through is very good, Mooney seems unnecessary unless he'll be elite.
