All life is suffering, especially as a Dargons fan in 2025. Some people cope by meditating, some people like John Moz, I'm Hornby et al cope by posting the most pathetic, repetitive, braindead slop imaginable, and possm obviously copes by coming up with vivid hypotheses. Ultimately as long as it doesn't cause harm I'm ok with it
Now that has to be the post of the year Victorie ! :)

Interesting that clubs have told players they can "look around". From what has been revealed so far:

Mooney: would take him > than cake, but no alpha prop.
Stewart: on the fence: has speed but defensively a liability. Tauted as a Gutho replacement. Not so sure.

LKP: would take > than feagai, but also has his defensive liabilities. Boy can run though.
Fermor: would take > LL. Surprised the Titans are letting him look around, SOO player.
Campbell: would take as a 7 who could play 1 if needed > KFlan.

Not sure if Fermor and Campbell are just seeking a valuation or are genuinely looking to get out. If it's the latter, then DA, time to earn your keep, as they would be 2 absolute priorities imo.

A shrewd analysis DS-my order of preference if all are available would be Mooney and Fermor (Dead heat), Campbell (great natural footballer like his dad but does he have the kicking game for a 7?)- Good number one if no to that question. It's a no from me for the shortish Stewart and LKP for the reasons you gave- I'd rather keep Finau or Sloan.

Mawene Hiroti off contract at Sharks, filled in seamlessly for KL iro when he’s been injured. can play centre & FB and carved us up in cup on weekend.
I don't know much about him, other than he's 26, but yah he tore us apart ok the weekend, it reminded me of dearden in 1st grade... Robbed us of any chance of a win in the first part of the game.

Hiroti is the guy who got Ramsey in an ugly high tackle a few years back.
Ramsey was just establishing himself as our fullback, made a fantastic break down the field and this guy came along and hit him in a bad head high tackle...no attempt to hit anything other than Ramsey's head.
I think Ramsey was out for about a month after that game.
So no thanks from me!

Well poaching from Penrith has worked ok for the blue and white weak gutted dogs so hopefully we can pick up a few good ones too.
Yeah let's hope so. I think we got Halangahu from there, also Latu and the Papualii twins signed recently. I'm sure there are a few others as well. It really is a strong catchment area. My son players junior footy in the Parra comp and they always play a pre-season trial vs teams in the Penrith comp, and it's almost always a win for the Penrith teams.

I feel like Flannos sharks connection gives us a shot with Uele, I cant assess other teams players tbh, i dont watch enough of them.. I assume his best years are behind him.. but we need more 1st graders like jack and klemmer have been this year.. particularly if we r letting them both go.. need a big upgrade for Lawrie also..... Klem on a cut price 1yr deal could be possible actually.. he has to be kept hungry.... maybe because Jack was on big dollars it was another story to keep him.. but I still think we will pay the price for letting him go.

Khan Pereira is another one, the games ive seen him.. he was amazing.. speed, finishing, aerial... but seems like there are good reasons hes in reserve grade.. i dunno what his physicality is like and whether we could turn him around.. thats rly my issue with Sloan.. you have to rip into tackles offensively, you have to really believe you will break through... defensively similar with contact, especially stopping a try.

Sometimes the wingers defensive issues are almost completely caused by the blokes inside them.. I have no idea whether this applies to Pereira or not...
