Molo should not be re-signedif you are offering MMolo a contract you are saying "meh, we have no ambition"
They have had permission to leave for ages this not new information. No one is interested thankfully Souths had injuries in their backs this season to take Ravalawa for 2025.View attachment 104994
thought I’d share what I saw on the interweb
The Josh Kerr who came up from Melbourne and basically did nothing for four years I would not want back. He could best have been described as tall- but that's all and I was advocating getting rid of him well before his eventual departure.I am actually dumbfounded by this reported Kerr signing just repeating the same dumb shit offering a 2 year deal to someone no one was chasing not to mention a player we got rid of to begin with absolutely braindead.
I understand the argument but I don’t like it nor am i willing to take a chance on him & for 2 years come on surely 1 year would have got the deal over the line & it would have spurred him on to perform next season. The Josh Kerr who came up from Melbourne and basically did nothing for four years I would not want back. The Josh Kerr who's been playing for the Dolphins looks to have had the complete makeover. His workrate, skill and intensity was much better than it was at the Dragons. Was the coaching of Woolff the difference? I'll be interested to see which version turns up if we do indeed re-sign him.
Billy Slater saw something in him.I understand the argument but I don’t like it nor am i willing to take a chance on him & for 2 years come on surely 1 year would have got the deal over the line & it would have spurred him on to perform next season.
Maybe- but the cashed up Perth Bears are looking for recruits for 2027 so a one year deal may have seen us lose him in 2027 for more money than we can spare.I understand the argument but I don’t like it nor am i willing to take a chance on him & for 2 years come on surely 1 year would have got the deal over the line & it would have spurred him on to perform next season.
Would have definitely taken a english contract if you were in recruitment then.I understand the argument but I don’t like it nor am i willing to take a chance on him & for 2 years come on surely 1 year would have got the deal over the line & it would have spurred him on to perform next season.
And one thing I respect about Billy Slater is that he is an excellent judge of a footballer. To have the courage and smarts to choose the novice Toia against Latrell in Origin- pretty impressive.Billy Slater saw something in him.
Shows how shit our team is. The players you speak of were picked week in and week out at the dragons, regardless of how shit they were. (And they most definitely were) When they were let go, they had to step it up at their new clubs or lose their careers. So they did.The Josh Kerr who came up from Melbourne and basically did nothing for four years I would not want back. Interesting to note that Billy Burns, Jack Gosiewski and Jackson Ford were all underwhelming at the Dragons but have been showing more to like at their current clubs. Maybe there is something in the coaching theory after all.
It’s based purely on his value as a depth player.if you are offering MMolo a contract you are saying "meh, we have no ambition"
This is all news to meThey have had permission to leave for ages this not new information. No one is interested thankfully Souths had injuries in their backs this season to take Ravalawa for 2025.
Meaning only 3 spots left for 26. Hopefully this means that lawrie is on his way outMembers first email has confirmed that the club has signed Josh Kerr on a 2 year deal
Lewis Dodd given permission to leave Souths, to which they would be willing to chip in a sizable portion of his salary.
For mine, he hasn't adapted well to NRL style of play, however, the heavily subsidized part sort of gets me interested. But, only if we could move Ilias on.
Thoughts?
Let’s be honest, Dodd has been treated just as poorly as Ilias yet the media ( Anasta ) and his goon mates have barely said a word about it. Scared to upset Wayne??Lewis Dodd given permission to leave Souths, to which they would be willing to chip in a sizable portion of his salary.
