Cant see how NAS too much $$$ ....
The Storm are paying a portion of his contract which has 2 more years to run
So he was on 800-850 ..Storm paying 300k per season
new club would be offerring around 500k per season
that would appear a bargain compared to Tino where we are supposedly prepared to offer him 1.5m per season
Flanno replied to someone else with more detail he said he is off to Rugby.

Sour grapes from Anasta., anyone who watched the nsw cup final will know Ilias was overshadowed by Tanah Boyd, who himself is not marquee 7..
Ilias is another super league type 7, not quite good enough to lead a team around, unless the team is stacked with talent.
Those who are as old as me will remember a great 1970s film called the French Connection with a youngish Gene Hackman in the starring role. There may not be a French Connection between Ilias and Anasta but there is certainly a Greek connection between Braith Anastakis (original name) and Lachlan llias. I've already made the point that Tanah Boyd gave Ilias a bath in the KOE Grand Final but of course that cuts no mustard with Braith. He is not objective and probably never will be in relation to Ilias.

He's risen, probably under Peter's principle, to a starring role as a Fox NRL 360 anchor but imo, with his ridiculous ageing playboy persona, he's not a patch on Ben Ikin.

If true Ilias for Sami, then he is going from the team that finished third last to the team that only missed out on the wooden spoon on percentages. Hardly a glowing endorsement of a halfback that a strong team is after. But I suppose it is just Anasta being Anasta.

Three-club race heats up for Rabbitohs young gun

Three clubs are set to enter a bidding war for electric five-eighth Nicholas Quinn, with the young star attracting a stack of interest as teams begin to seek long-term halves prospects.

After captaining the Rabbitohs' Jersey Flegg squad and making his NSW Cup debut in 2025, Quinn looks to be the real deal and a true NRL running five-eighth.

Zero Tackle understands that Quinn has been tabled three separate offers.
The Rabbitohs are keen to retain him, despite a logjam in the halves with Cody Walker, Jamie Humphries, Jayden Sullivan, Ashton Ward, and Jonah Glover all in the running for a playmaking spot.

His former club, the St George Illawarra Dragons, is also keen on his services, hoping to bring him back to where it all started.
The Dragons' long-term halves are far from decided, and could feature Quinn should he decide to re-join the club.

Is that correct?
Souths have 4 halves that had spent time here?
Quinn, Sullivan, Ward & now Glover ?

… and we took Illias?

It seems that SGI has become the production line for Souths halves-Sullivan, Ward, Glover and now Quinn- we need to get Kade Reed locked down long-term AND Ben Hornby (as the probable link for these signings) back to the Dragons in some capacity.

Club ruled out of race for Storm duo

Despite the Dragons' lack of halfback depth, the prospect of bringing Pezet in is reportedly not on the cards.
While it is unknown why Pezet isn't a target for the Dragons, it can be assumed that his manager, Braith Anasta, is uninterested in negotiating with the Red V after their poor treatment of his other client, Lachlan Ilias.
Pezet looks likely bound for the Parramatta Eels, with the Canberra Raiders also keen on the young halfback's services.
