You're right thebigredv-it is only sport-but none of us would be on this forum if it didn't play a major distracting role in our lives and if that distraction isn't satisfying, it's not fulfilling its purpose.

Despite some disagreements over decisions made in relation to players such as De Belin, Finau and Ramsey, I feel there are some green shoots appearing in the club's recruitment and retention and I for one am willing to give Ando and Watsford a fair chance over the next couple of months to show what they can deliver. The Sami non-signing was a blow but Josh Hannay wanted to keep Sami and Hannay is a close working contact of Billy Slater. The lure of playing SOO again may have been the tipping point for Sami.

I agitated for Kerr to be punted but he has been reborn under Woolf- it said something about the lack of quality in our pathways system that Kerr was rubbish all those years after coming up from Melbourne. Hopefully Amone will never play for the Dragons again. He showed no remorse and as far as I'm concerned has irreparably destroyed any relationship with this club.

We have 3 five eight for 2026 - Atkinson, Flanno and LKT so I do not think we will go for Amone. We desperately need a half if we want to be competitive for 2026.

A shame if we are stuck with Ilias, Sloan and Lawrie again for 26. Shows how little they are thought of outside of our walls.

Negotiate a release settlement with all of them. It is better that we bring through others, maybe juniors.
