Probably written by AI...Hamish Stewart is a certainty for the 17
Seriously we are no chance of getting Tino. His asking price will be over a million and we all know our club has no money and other resources to get Tino. So not sure why media and maybe managers keep tying Tino with Dragons.David Fale![]()
Agree if we can keep him fit and healthy he'll take over from JDB as the main man in the lock position.Hamish Stewart is a certainty for the 17
We have money, we have plenty of salary cap space to get Tino if he wants to come..Seriously we are no chance of getting Tino. His asking price will be over a million and we all know our club has no money and other resources to get Tino. So not sure why media and maybe managers keep tying Tino with Dragons.
Lets accept it we are owned by "Win and St George League" (a regional old media TV station and a leagues club). A throwback to 70th and 80th. Lets look mat our competitors
Donkeys are owned by News Corp and publicly traded in ASX.
Melbourne Storm owned by private Equity
Roosters - major owner Nick Politis who is in automotive industry
This structure needs change for Dragons to be successful.
Maybe in the first instance we can follow Shark's model. In Shark's model it is the football club that owns leagues club (ie., opposite of our structure) or benevolent businessmen come around and run the business with a passion.
It's the TPAs that will decide where Tino plays. We are useless in the TPA world and this is the reason we keep missing the big names. It's not Wollongong, it's not our lack of success, it's not having two home grounds......it is that we are fxcking hopeless at fostering the necessary networks to facilitate TPAs. Simples. We have money, we have plenty of salary cap space to get Tino if he wants to come..
Follow the sharks model, is that the model where you are going bankrupt, have no league club..
As the Marquee Players available are dropping off the vine as we close in on Nov 1 i feel the only worth while players available that we are any hope of landing are ;It's the TPAs that will decide where Tino plays. What a load of crap.Seriously we are no chance of getting Tino. His asking price will be over a million and we all know our club has no money and other resources to get Tino. So not sure why media and maybe managers keep tying Tino with Dragons.

We have no marquee players whereas, other clubs have several. Look at our backs, halves and forwards, none over 1m. All clubs receive the same funding from the NRL each year.Seriously we are no chance of getting Tino. Don’t matter what you throw at himWe have no marquee players whereas, other clubs have several. Look at our backs, halves and forwards, none over 1m. All clubs receive the same funding from the NRL each year.
Our club has the money and space within the to 30. Tino is exactly the marquee prop we need. Throw the kitchen sink at him.
