Putting the money and contract length aside, do you rate him as a player?

Yes I do rate him he can get lazy on the edge he’s a better middle. He’s got a big motor can play long mins make make big metres and tackles he’s a high work rate middle I wouldn’t call him an enforcer type though won’t put big shots on much or bust lots of tackles but he can offload. He played 12 games at lock in 2024 when Murray was injured and 12 games at prop last year. He is yet to play a full season at prop or lock. I personally think you guys will play him at lock and about 70mins a game. How he handles 20 odd games solely in the middle over a whole season I will be interested. It’s a great signing for you guys but can he keep his form up in the 4th and 5th year of the deal when he’s 33 years old will be the question.

He will play origin in 2026 for sure. Potential to be a top 5 middle I think over the next few years too and lead your pack. Personally I think you’ve paid a bit overs but understand why in the position you guys are and how hard it’s been to land a big fish.

Just got a feeling keon and sua will form a good partnership. Sua finally has some legit top end support and the youngsters are frothing to learn from these elite players. Our younger players aren't show ponies either and do the hard work while bringing energy to support our big bulls.
