Me. Lovely to see karma at work.
Agree! but I'm glad (for once) its not us who has to go thru the legal/media circus.. and maybe gives player agents atleast some pause for next time.

Generally when a player is grumpy for long enough and wants out, its 99/100 times just easier to move the player on and if you can get something in return.. even better.... Zacs situation is quite unique though.. it was meant to be a code change.

Back to rumours, I feel Saints are waiting on a big gun to fall out of favour with a club and pounce as there is nobody out there that fits their criteria. They are getting picky now which is good to see after the Kolomatangi business. Talking to Bula and not Averillo is also a good sign. If Averillo joins it will be his 3rd club. Murray is injured, wait and see how he backs up. There are plenty of mid-season switches and Saints are looking to be in the box seat when it happens which it will as history shows. Some player will get disgruntled sooner than you think.

It would indeed be great if the Dragons were able to sign another prominent player before the season kicks off Slippery, back or forward to boost our attack and defence, perhaps another hard head forward who knows the way to our opponents try line .

To be honest

we got shafted with Molo

finally a club saids it’s legal it’s not NRL and it’s not the NRL players union

this is a smart move for everyone unless Parra loose but maybe the settlement will still be better than the terms Parra have been offered

and maybe it will be a line in the sand

Put ur money on the table player if u want to break contracts and agree to terms to signed off terms and then break then try to break them again

I’m not sure what the stats say, but injury wise, the first chunk of the season is usually a bloodbath, everyone at full pelt but for the cobwebs. So I’d be very careful with him.

He’s been honest, 95% tackle efficiency.

Next man up, opportunity knocks for a capable youngster to hold the fort.

Don’t forget, you’ve got a capable coach and if he can’t find a solution, no one can.

Big loss grade 3 hammy is generally about 12 weeks I don’t think you’ll have Liddle back til about round 6 which is 11 weeks away.
That sounds safer.

I think Madge was an exponent of mixing up sides in the early games anyway. There’s the fine tuning. All coaches are looking to settle on a side for the balance of the season.

Flanno wants to win every game, but hes also going to need part of the season for blooding. I think what he’s looking for is good footy, close games at the minimum.

And Cookey was obviously really struggling at times last year ( sad to see) , so contemplating a replacement has been on the cards for many months.

They’d be far worse losses at this point, but no one likes an injury.

Plus Liddle is wholesome. Loves his SGI.

The halves situation is another point of genuine intrigue and contemplation for SGI for 26.

At worst case, Galvo has demonstrated that even a vanilla half with no natural talent can make a contribution if used properly.

Liddle is a big loss for the start of the season but Flanagan to 14 and LKT to 6 makes the halves better. But I have a feeling that Shane Flanagan will have LKT at 14 then play him at 6 for the last 25 mins with Flanagan shifting to hooker. Think he wants to keep the Kyle and Atkinson halves pairing growing so once liddle is back the halves don’t change.
