I CAN'T DEAL WITH FLANAGAN AND THIS CLUB ANYMORE. IF WE LET LOKO GO I AM COMPLETELY DONE I DON'T CARE ANYMORE. IT'S AN ABSOLUTE OUTRIGHT JOKE. SACK FLANAGAN NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE TO START PROTESTS AGAINST THIS. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE 0-6 START TO THE YEAR. THE BOARD HAVE TO GROW A PAIR AND SACK HIM NOW

Dean Young won 2 from 4 in his role as interim coach. 1st game was a win against the Broncos 28-24 (Broncos were bad then) and the last win against the Storm in the final round. Melb squad that played consisted of Papenhuzen, Brandon Smith, Kamikamica, Christian Welch and the young Nico Hynes and Max King on the bench. Most were rested. The thing I liked most about this game is Young dropped Corey Norman and put in a young Jayden Sullivan who had a blinder. So Dean Young may not be the answer, but he has the ball$ to put in a youngster if the halves are struggling. So that in itself is an improvement if he does come in as I feel he will bring Kade Reed in just like he brought in Sullivan back then. He also had Ben Hunt play hooker so Young could have easily put Hunt at hooker, instead he had Clune and Sullivan in the halves. Feagai, Cody Ramsay and Jackson Ford played that game. Guys that Young coached to win a comp in the juniors.

Had Young stayed and not Griffin come in, I dare say Jackson Ford, Jayden Sullivan stay in the squad. Cody if fit possibly stays. Aitken, Sims, Clune who have since gone may also still be around. That was the sliding doors moment I feel for Saints. I feel Young would have persisted with the youth and who knows how would he have gone but I feel better than Griffin that is for sure. Instead they got Griffin in and he destroyed the youngsters like Sullivan, Jackson Ford, Sloan ,Lomax, and who knows Bostock and Garrick may still be our around.

I am not saying Young will get Saints out of this mess, but as interim he may at least give the local boys more of a crack than Flanno and definitely there will be no more nepotism. If anything I feel Young will put the Saints youngsters ahead of others.
What was the view of his time as interim coach at the Cows? Fox suggested they were interested in him as possible head coach?

You couldn’t make this crap up, sack Flanagan now. Lawrie before him FFS

This is all on Flanagan and the board for extending him, they should all just quit.
Disgraceful, our most promising young forward wants out and who can blame him when he's not getting a fair crack?

Fraud Flanno can f**k off immediately, he is doing irreparable damage to the club.

This is becoming really strange. We have an outstandingly poorly performing first grade team and an outstandingly talented reserve grade team. We have a couple of senior couches who have an increasingly poor record and a lower grade coach with a highly successful record AND a dogged, obstinate determination to NOT make ANY changes - even at this juncture where we have nothing whatsoever to lose (other than the young talented players we’ve invested in).

The whole scenario now defies all logic and reason.

Blind Freddy can see we need some spark and change. I would have gone the below as a minimum, this season is already gone.
LPT in for Lawrie
Kerr in for Guler
Halangahu in for SuA (he can make some impact off the bench)
Reed in for Kyle
Liddle starts cook to bench
Feagai in for Tuipolotu
Fale in for Suli

Was always going to be the case....we need to get hammered ( unfortunately ) in the next 2 games for them to even consider change.
Ok Getsmarty so over the next 2 games we get absolutely f**ked. Then or our weak as piss board gets rid of Flanno everyone here is happy.
Then what, I not happy, nothing has changed we are going to get the same bullshit we are getting now, we don’t have the players and definitely don’t have the coaches except for Willie T he has the KOE cup team playing a good brand of footy.
I know I am on a rant, I can’t see how the f**k the whole club turns this around. We bring some of the cup guys up great, where are the hard heads to lead and protect the young guys, Kade Reed is playing who the f**k is going to protect him stand up for him I can’t see it. I know what this is like, having older heads there they never shut up all the talk. Maybe I wrong Getsmarty happy to take the lumps but geez I never ever thought it would come to this how bad it really is
