P Ennis would do us all a favour if he walked out on Fox. Never trained a choko vine over a trellis.
He did coach under 18's SOO & was boasting about his players being too Big & Strong for the QLD team. Unfortunately the QLD team had speed instead, the Qld team consisted of Walsh, Coates, The Hammer, Sam Walker, Tesi Nui & Loiero. need I say they were far to quick & skilled & smashed NSW.
So I think he hasn't learnt that you need speed, over, Big Strong, slow logs.

During the gap between naming Young, a News Corp report claimed the club had opted to cancel Tuesday training.
However, clarification has now been provided by chief executive officer Tim Watsford, who described the detail as "fabricated".

"That's probably the most disappointing part that I've seen in the last little while. This was discussed after the game on Saturday with our high performance manager around what this week looks like," he said on 2GB's Wide World of Sports Radio.

"We're going to go into camp at Brighton on Friday ahead of Anzac Day so it was thought we'd give the boys a break on Tuesday. The fact that it's come out that we took training off the cards, that's completely fabricated, that was a decision made post-game."

Am I the only one who thinks the decision to go into a Brighton camp the day before Anzac Day is a strange one when we've only just started using the UOW High Performance Centre with its incredible facilities?

Yes true, but I think everything is about resetting right now. Different people, different places...and given how poorly what we have been doing has worked, it makes complete sense.

Dean Young should offer Gutho an assistant coaches role to free up cap space. I do think Gotho would be good in a role like that.
Oh shit I nearly forgot he could also offer Kerr a role to clean the sheds..
With there money and others off contract we have a very nice war chest.

All of this is out of our control and the change we wanted has happened with some results like Deano not pleasing everyone. Im just hoping we can now all at least get behind him and finally start winning games- thats all i care about and that’s all that really matters. I dont really care who’s the coach if we start seeing some juniors play and maybe even win some games. I really hope the forum settles down now and we all start seeing some positivity again. Its been a really tough year but onwards and upwards can be our only desire now
Not a fan of Dean! Though I will say thought he spoke really well in press conference & on 360 last night.
and WHOEVER the coach is , as a fan I will support and just hope for results!
But I would have rather us look external for a whole shake up for the interim.
Anyway, we’re here now! Just need some heart! Cause seems like the older lads are there for the pay checks

There is a big difference between Foran and Manly and us. Manly have talent it’s just the coach was the problem. In our case …
Spot on!
unfortunately when we have blokes like lawrie, Kerr & guler . It’s hard!!
Yes 360 showed we’re leading the meters from our forward pack,

that’s all from sua, Luch, Couchman & Stewart!

guler averaging 88m
Lawrie averaging 100m
Kerr averaging 35m

Again jobs for the boys Ben Creagh Dean Young its safe for the Board not to be removed by a professional like Richo if he came in and cleaned out the club as he did for tigers.

Much rather Creagh got the job than Shane Richardson. I've met Creagh and he's an intelligent man who will be asking the right questions and quietly bringing about the change we need. He's already told LPT's agent to get f.cked when they asked for an early release. He can be tough when he needs to be. Richardson is a has-been who hasn't achieved anything in a long time. He walked away from the Tigers after a year with the NRL deciding whether to go after him for conflicts of interest for using his own company for marketing work at the Tigers. Him and the other Directors were hiding financial decisions from the owners. He left the Souths a mess and if you ask most people that club's resurgence was down to Russell Crowe's influence in bringing over the Burgess boys plus a few other key signings. He's an over the hill administrator when what we're looking for is fresh blood and new ideas.

Yes on the surface you'd think an insider like Ben would have a better idea on how to fix the problems at club, rather than an outsider looking in. If he does get the position, this would mean he could hit the ground running whereas someone like Richardson would need time to get the lay of the land first, before he could actually start doing the job effectively.

Having said this, with Ben's tertiary qualifications, I would prefer to see him as CEO instead of Watsford. I think Brownie should be head hunted to replace Haran, he would do a good job with his long term experience/knowledge of not only our club, but many other Rugby League Clubs and the fact he is a very pathways/grass roots focused person.

I think Ben creagh will do well, he's another one who wears his heart on his sleeve for the club like deano. Hopefully deano will prove a lot of people on here wrong over the course of the year. Good luck to him, I hope our dragons start afresh from this weekend against the Rosters. Deano now has the rest of this year to see who's worth keeping for next year and who's not. I'd like to see Willie talau get the head coaching job next year, someone who the players can relate to, communicate with professionally, understand his work ethics and go out and give 100 percent each game.
