I agree..as a former Shire dweller (it was the Saints area before Cronulla/Sutherland came on the scene) I wish them all the best in their quest for their first premiership...Id much prefer they get up than say Brisbane, Melbourne etc...good on em their playing some great footy

What's good about them is they actually put some though in their recruitment, and didn't just grab the most expensive stars available (like Broncos, Dogs and Roosters do).

Getting guys like Ennis and Lewis late in their careers, as well as taking a punt on Barba, Maloney and Townsend, and to top it off, nicking Jack Bird off us (who we thought wasn't worth keeping) :roll::roll:

It's nice to see recruitment guys actually doing their jobs.
