True, Campbell wasn't rid off immediately, but the signs were there for trouble very early in the piece.

MattO's editorial policy is that if it causes a stir, then it must be good. I have to admit, its worked for him in the past with regards to attracting visitors. However, along the way its also seen much of what he writes being totally disregarded.

At the moment, I'm not even worrying about the Den. I haven't visited the site for about 2 weeks, let alone updating it. I've got more important stuff to worry about, like uni exams. It'll become a priority again after November 14th.

So, up until that time, I can make no promises about the accuracy of what goes up on the site. After that date, I should be gung ho getting stuck into next year's design and making sure that everything is running smoothly.

The incumbent number 7 at Cronulla was promised by the coach he would have first crack at the number 7 position.
He got third crack & that was twenty minutes worth, whilst surrounded by ten debutants against a full strength Kiwi outfit.

I know a guys once who wasn't sacked. They just moved him from his managers position to the janitors position.
He moved on. He was a terrible janitor.

Anyway, as I predicted, it was for the best anyway.
As I predicted, Campbell will have two or three GF victories under his belt by retirement(at the new Gold Coast team, more on that later) & Anderson & Kimmorley will never see one again.

Acutally Morph I believe you can. I have never heard or read of Ando talking of "John Lang's" losing culture at all.

It has always been "Cronulla's" losing culture and it dates back well before Lang.

Using the name Lang in the article is just muckraking, opportunistic, self serving dribble.

Ando has never to my knowledge bagged Lang personally but has referred to a long entrenched losing attitude on many occasions.

i noticed it straight off although he never mentioned lang there was plenty of implied criticism of all that happened b4 the great one arrived

in fact i have never heard a coach speak so much about the past when defining the future
