Were always going to be defensive battles.

i agree. i was expecting more fight from benfica and juve though.

benfica's goalie had a decent night, his defence didnt do him many favours, but neither side really impressed me going forward, it was as if they were hoping a goal would happen by osmosis, they never really work hard enough to earn a chance to score.

mind you they did play Barca..... of course its going to be tough to score against such an awesome side..
