yeah, it was disappointing... but then, every captain after a GF has been similarly underwhelming

I thought it was worse than underwhelming / Borderline pathetic.

"yeah bois… bois…" made him seem uber thick.

Aren't those speeches generally lame? You weren't expecting Sutton to be a world class orator were you?

So he's not the most eloquent guy.

Hardly the crime of the century.

I don't think anyone would doubt his sincerity and emotion in delivering his speech.

That's all that matters.

There's a reason he came across as really thick - he is one of the dumbest pricks dragging knuckles on this earth.

Mildly above average as a player and a total f*cking dunce.

YEAH THE BOYS!!!

Hahaha hilarious.

The sad thing is that's the most confident and well spoken i've heard him speak, not even joking.

He was still smashed at the trophy presentation at Redfern Oval on Monday, could barely slur out a word...

"Yeah bois"

Could've said so much more. Souths' struggle to get back into the comp and all that. 43 years....

They are always lame... the "we're taking this back to Redfern" and "yeah bois!" was as good as you usually get - Greg Alexander's "This is for the people of Penrith" was similar, followed later by Roycie's "I'm gonna have a beer with every one of youse"

I prefer that stuff, rather than the tired clichéd bullshit that some trot out - Sam Burgess was doing that... f**k it, biggest game of the year, for many of their lives... short and sweet and then celebrate I reckon...

Nobody expects these guys to be superb orators at the end of a gruelling 80 mins, surely?

Worst GF speech ever

Burgess spoke alot more eloquently, as did Lote being interviewed by Ch 9

"Wooo!
I'd like to thank "insert name/sponsor" for everything you've done this year"
