I don't care if McGoldrock plays, as long as Chanelle is there on Saturday :D

Dumas paid for his shocker last week.
Gallen again to 5/8.
Interesting the inclusion of McGoldrick who is paired with Simmons, as if the chooks arent gonna target them.
Bailey should go better at lock but i dont think McGoldrick is the answer to the center problems. Either way we will find out on the weekend.
That isnt a bad side but wouldnt be surprised if changes are made before kick off since we have the 5 man bench.

Im with you Local, Simmons defence is already proven to be a little weak and suciptible. With the addition of McGoldrick, who is not much better, and the fact that we are playing the roosters is very, very scarey.. Hopefully it wont be the case, but I feel that there is at least 12 points down that side.

Perhaps Stuey is throwing in our two weakest defenders so the chooks put all their attention into targeting this side and come game time he might mix it up.. Something to think about.

Simmons played next to Vagana a few games back, so I don't know if you can assume where they will line up.

Nice looking team.

Our Premier League side looks like it could give some teams a run for their money on paper. Hopefully they'll put it all together soon too!

I think goldy should be given a clean sheet here.
When he was in he was making lots of tackles, one game in the thirties. thats very high for a centre. His miss percentage was very low, but unfortunately those misses were critical. Perhaps thos misses weren't entirely his fault.
Anyway, he has his chance now.
Big test up against an inform Cross(even though I don't rate him at all).

Raper, you continue to impress me (or your reading this board). Either way the I am very happy with him.
I would think Merritt may be considered an even worse defender than Simmo, hence he is with Vagana.
Goldy me thinks will do better than Bailey in defence ie they wont simply go around goldy as easily. If Simmo stays on his man, I have faith. However Bailey has been attacking very well out at left centre, so meh.
Gallen - could have got 10000-1 he would be no.6 in round 10. Kudos, show freddie some 'hurt'. I would still go with Sully, but hey Gallen is on fire.
Hilder hooker  Tighten up that ruck son.

What did Galloway do wrong again?

It's his style I dislike. I've seem to have noticed that on many occasions he actually lets the attacking player get around him so he can tackle them from behind.

Point taken, however it that not an improvement on Bailey, he lets them run around him, but he cannot catch them to tackle them from behind.

Nothing wrong with Mcgoldy. His deadset the new Jason Kent. You all paid out of Kent at the start of last year saying he couldn't tackle and just giving it to the poor bloke then everyone liked him.

I'd rather have a centre at 4 than a backrower. Let Bailey do the dirthy work in the middle of the park again.

what is the point of having pat gibson at 18? :?

Why is Gibbo in the 18?
My guess is for changes Raper may want to make as the week progresses. eg. gallen to center, Hilder to 5/8, Gibbo to Hooker, McGoldrick Left right out. Im not predicting that will happen as other changes could be made bringing Gibbo into the side, just could be a reason why Gibbo is in the 18. Someone could be carrying an inury we may not know about as well.
