what made jonah lomu rugby the best is that it felt like each team you where playing was different.
but with rl1 every team was the same.= boring

you need to make each computer team play different
make the AI more Exciting
make the AI do alot more things like doing chips if the fullback has droped back
make the ai sometimes spread the ball to the wing on the last then when there about to get caught by the fullback make him kick inside.

make the AI unpridictable

say if you had 3 minutes left on the clock in rl1 and the score was 20 to 24
the AI would do the samething over and over wich is passed the ball and run
the AI did not do chips or bombs or anythink exciting in Rl1.

so in Rugby league 2 the AI should do exciting stuff.

i dont really care about the features i just want Rugby league 2's gameplay to
be exciting.

in real life rugby league is unprictible
which is is exciting
you didnt know he was going to do a chip
or dummy right then push thorugh the diffense

but with rl1 you knew that there going to pass the ball get tackle run
get half tackled offload then run get tackle then run.
after along time you might see them kick the ball once

who agrees with me

Jonah Lomu Rugby is a personal cult favourite... a personal cult, hmm. I agree though, I mean playing as the All-Blacks you could just see in the game that they were more of a power team with some quick guys on the outside, while someone like Australia were more speedy and skilful. I spent way too many hours playing that.

What they should do is give players personalities.

Like say for example Leon Bott is a speedy winger but he dosn't go looking for the ball thus his ball hunting/searching skills would be classed as a 2 while guys like Lockyer being a half would be closer to a 9.

Also add in other personalities like abilities to find gaps and so on and it would be awsome.

You could also add players reaction, meaning that they can react to plays like bombs or grubbers, I reckon that would be a sweet option.

yeah the stats for them could be vision and work-rate.
so a prop would have sy 9-10 for work rate while the fitness is still good.
and vision for half backs or maybe a creativity stat.

The only way the game will ever be worthyof being unpredictable and exciting is if they put it in a NFL style play. I mean the real time is ok but you cant plan on what to do with the player without the ball, so no run arounds no inside passes...no set plays.
Should be an option to stop the play at the play the ball work out a set plan ala Madden
