Agree with Belly and PARRALIGHT.

Thorman has a go every time he plays. He tries things, and gets stuck in. In fact, I reckon he puts his body on the line harder than Vella, but hey, thats another story.

In a decent team, Thorman would shine. Shame he's not in one.

Agree re the pro Thorman attitude. His problem is that he has made no combinations with anyone, and when he tries things he gets no back up. And that, in so many ways, comes down to Brian SMith.

Smith has not allowed Thorman any comfort in first grade. It's either supplanting Morriss at hooker, supplanting Dykes to the bench (and the watching him come in to save his job in the 20th minute) or being thrown in at 5/8 on match eve.

Smith has also failed to get his backs to chase kicks. If Parra's backs chased like they did in 1999 -2001, Thorman would have the kicking game of Jason Smith.
