I give you the ten best & worst comedy series I've ever seen...

1. Seinfeld
2. M*A*S*H*
3. Frasier
4. The Simpsons
5. Arrested Development
6. Just Shoot Me!
7. Black Books
8. American Dad!
9. Family Guy
10. Married With Children

Community & Modern Family are by far the best going around today & may reach the 10 if they continue strongly. Gems which didn't miss out by much include Becker, Mr. Bean, Mother & Son, & Absolutely Fabulous, as well as the UK Office. Shows like Father Ted, Newsradio, Coupling, Spin City & Rules Of Engagement would probably make a top-20.

Now the worst...

1. Two & A Half Men
2. Scrubs
3. King Of The Hill
4. Friends
5. The King Of Queens
6. Everybody Loves Raymond
7. The Middle
8. My Wife & Kids
9. The Big Bang Theory
10. Less Than Perfect

With The Simpsons I think you can put into both categories depending on which period you are looking at

Besides number 1 which is my favourite show of all time and I watch an episode practically a night the list varies depending on my mood at the time but

1. Seinfeld
2. Spaced
3. 30 rock
4. Arrested development
5 curb your enthusiasm.
6. Parks and rec
7 community
8 father Ted
9 fawlty towers
10 the office (uk)

I like a lot of projects made by gervais and co so extras, an idiot abroad and the Ricky gervais show would challenge but I don't want to clog the list up. I would have picked both the Simpsons and futurama a number of years ago but well they have fallen from the top 10. Community is only really there because of Alison brie am I rite guys.

Scrubs as your 2nd worst! Very different opinion on that one you and I.
It went down hill after a while but the 1st 4-5 seasons of Scrubs were some of the funniest shows. Very quotable and, for me and my mentality, very relatable.

For me I'll just list a few...no order...

Scrubs
Married with children
Seinfeld
Futurama
Simpsons (seasons 1-10)
Family guy
Whose line is it anyway?
Micallef programme

No one has ever been more wrong in the history of the world.

She's hot, her characters cute, & can be funny (nowhere near as good as Gillian Andersons Britta creation), but most of all this is a brilliantly written & acted show. Brie wouldn't make the top 50 reasons it rates a mention, & that's no knock on her at all.

Yeah, I haven't watched The Simpsons in years. I'm just rating shows on their primes.

3rd Rock From The Sun, That 70s Show, Drawn Together & Kath & Kim were all fun.

I like community and all (and the brie bit was a joke. You may have heard of them) but I find it goes a bit too much up its own arse on occasions. Clever little show and deserved better but it will be off my list in five years I'd reckon.

In no particular order, and restricting myself to shows I remember watching on TV (at various points in my life) and crying tears of laughter....

1. The Simpsons (early to mid 90s possibly the greatest comedy in the history of everything)
2. Whose Line Is It Anyway? (British version only, particularly when Tony Slattery appears)
3. Shooting Stars
4. Peep Show (honourable mention to some skits in Mitchell & Webb's other series)
5. The Young Ones
6. Mr Bean (NOT the animated version, what I've seen of that was terrible)
7. South Park
8. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
9. Pulp Sport (NZ sports-themed comedy, pretty sure it showed in Aussie)
10. Married With Children

This would probably change if I try again tomorrow.

Top 10 Worst Comedies :
1. Two & A Half Men...... did too times ten.
