Hey...enough of that blasphemy. :D
Tractors are cool machines that can just do 5hit that a car won't. They are so bloody useful at doing stuff....like pulling out my drunk brother in-laws front end after a tree crossed his path :sarcasm:....or killing that taipan that inadvertently tried to claim a stake on my property....

Yesterday, my wife thought I'd lost the plot because I was looking for old pics of my tractor.

Alas, they could not be found. I wanted to share some of the good times we had together as landowner and machine. Try to give you city folk an insight into the relationship that exists with a man and his Fergie.... How we'd try to make up parts to get the old girl running....how my kids used to just love sitting on her, much the same as some would a fire engine, or a police car in the city.....my kids learnt tractor etiquette and rules....(am tearing up here now).
There's a sad side that is never discussed around others for fear of recrimination.
Tractor racism exists in the real world too you know...not to be scoffed at. Much the same as whether you are a Ford or Holden man/woman, the same undying passion exists for Fords, Fiats or John Deere. My father taught me this from an early age.

One of my favourite songs....ever....guess who the artists are ?

There are many, many others...

I must find those photos and gonna sit down with a bottle of bootleg and reminisce about fencing and slashing...:D

the first tractor I bought blew hundreds of huntsmen spiders out of the exhaust pipe so it literally rained spiders down all over me, some dead and some not

they had been breeding inside the muffler for about 6 months and I got the tractor when I bought the farm

lol...golden memories

Driving mine involved a decent spray of 'Start Ya Bastard' and it may as well of had beer cans for front wheels as steering was almost non existent.
Seriously fkn dangerous everytime and not for the faint hearted....lol

Just a 'blokey' thing....my wife doesn't understand :D
