unless I'm sadly mistaken, it's supposed to take place this saturday at the stadium, so I have a few questions to ask and am wondering if anyone can shead some light on a few questions...

is this a public event??

who's organising it?? ie: the trust, the council or the club???

what time is it on??

who's going to be there??

before i try and contact the club i'd like to know if anyone is aware that it's on..

I cant see how they'd turn away anyone that rocked up.

Also, did we put any cash in? Sounds like a Trust event.

If we didnt put up the money, it's got nothing to do with us. Nor the council.

The Parramatta Stadium Trust will be unveiling the long awaited sculpture of Ray Price at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday 21st February at 11.00am.

The sculpture is the work of Brett 'Mon' Garling who was commissioned to produced the sculpture by the Trust.

Ray Price and his family and friends, along with other invited guests, are expected to attend the ceremony.

Fans of the sporting legend are also invited to participate in the momentous occasion.

The Parramatta Stadium Trust still has the 'Walk of Legends' project on the agenda for consideration this year.

The project within the Stadium precinct would feature sculptures of iconic sporting personalities, and perhaps legends in other fields of endeavour associated with the Parramatta area, Western Sydney, Cumberland Oval and Parramatta Stadium.

Apparently Fitzy has been on the blower to Bill Lawry hoping to organize a couple of hundred pigeons for the morning o the ceremony.

Answer to Question 1. Yes I believe that it is a public event. I am also led to believe that already over 200 people have confirmed their attendance to the Stadium trust.

Answer to Question 2. I don't know but I THINK it is the Stadium Trust.

Answer to Question 3. 11am this Saturday is the official unveiling time. Probably wouldn't hurt to get their a bit earlier however.

Answer to Question 4. Obviously, Nikki, You, me, Ray Price and over 200 more people. I know that the entire 3P group will be there plus the newly elected FC Directors in John Chidiac, Brett Kenny, Eric Grothe Snr and again Ray. Obviously I do not know who from the incumbants will be there. There will also be media and as answered in Question 1, Ray has invited alot of people that he has met over the years from within and outside of Rugby League plus family, work colleagues.

Answer to Question 5. Same answer to Question 1. Still on and happening this Saturday.

See you there Stagger.
