I've been meaning to start a thread about this double live cd for a while, but have only just gotten around to it.
Firstly, WOW! Plenty of dodgy live albums have been released before, but when live records are done well... they are just brilliant. This cd takes material from the early days right through to the "Up all Night" album, along with covers (their version of Dylan's "Don't think twice" is amazing).
Along with capturing the atmosphere, vibe and clear honesty of a Waifs performance, it also showcases the talent and musicianship of the band. I'd recommend this cd to everyone here, if you aren't a Waifs fan already - I reckon you could well be after hearing this one.
9.5/10 and in my top 3 cd's of 2004.
