When AMC and "Walking Dead" showrunner Glen Mazzara announced this week they were parting company, fans reacted with shock and fear that their favorite show was in danger. Zap2It reported on Dec. 24 that comic book creator Robert Kirkman finally responded to some of the criticisms leveled toward the decision.

The biggest item that Kirkman responded to was the profanity laced outburst by "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter, who came to defense of Mazzara, who Sutter worked with on "The Shield." Sutter basically said that AMC did not respect the creative forces behind their successful shows and that things look bleak for "The Walking Dead."

Kirkman originally gave a generic response, giving his "full support" to the decision.

However, Suttor was not finished and set out on another Twitter rant, this one namedropping Kirkman. He said that AMC sent him "sour tastes, forbidden fruit, broken promises and the marinated tongue used to lick kirkman's a**."

Kirkman was a gentleman with his response, saying that "Sons of Anarchy" was his favorite television show and that it was upsetting to hear the complaints about a topic that Sutter knew nothing about. He finished that up with a Merry Christmas wish to Sutter.

AMC has not named a replacement showrunner for "The Walking Dead" yet.

Look at any discussion of this show on any forum and you'll see that fanboys like yourself who believe this show doesn't have any issues are in the minority.

The Walking Dead has glaring problems through out the show mainly during season 2 "zombie in the well scene comes to mind" But with that still think it's top television.

I consider myself a Fanboy, who loves the comics, and I think the show has numerous issues. I don't know that I'd go as far as saying "why do I watch this" but I certainly say to myself "what a stupid plot point" or "why is this guy such a wimp".

TV Rick is annoying me at the moment.

Spoiler: Opinion on last nights ep

Good return last night, not as explosive as I'd hoped. So many plot lines at once left me wondering where things would go. I found myself laughing at Rick's Meltdown after he'd managed to cope pretty well at Woodbury. TV show misses Dale, Hershel isn't filling the void as the calming voice IMO.

Hershel just isn't that interesting. I'm surprised at some of the characters they have killed off. I suppose Shane was necessary but why did they kill Dale. Who is the voice of reason now. Rick is looney, I thought the Govenor was suppose to be the mad one. Still, i enjoyed the demon wife scene or whatever it was.

Are they trying to toughen up Glenn? dont think that will work.

Killing off Dale was a massive mistake. But then again the actor wanted out, so what can you do?

Rick's spin out scene was terrible, I was literally laughing out loud. You also gotta wonder how the Woodbury people survived so long. They are being shot at but they just stand there like idiots instead of moving behind cover to fire back. Michonne gets her usual menacing looks in but otherwise has f**k all to do with anything.

The writers of this show really f**king suck.

I said an idiot watching the show just to wonder why he is watching the show would be comparable to me watching True Blood. All I would do is sit there and complain about how dumb it is, which is why I don't watch it. Why would I waste my time doing that?

I was happy enough with the return episode. They started a lot of threads but they need to follow them up better than they have previously rather than keeping a couple strong and then letting the rest fall by the wayside.
