Roger, our player of the year, by a country mile. He had the Chooks shook, every time he touched the ball. If only we had five or six of him out there.

As said, we didn't do this historic ground justice. Those stands, the Ladies and Members, survived the wrecking ball. The other historic stands, all with that iconic green roofing, ended up at North Sydney Oval, and are still there now.

Found it weird the lights on during a sunny day

It was dark and freezing in the shadows (an icy wind was blowing) and they crept over the arena as the afternoon wore on.

A very testing day for us Warriors fans. I can't say I enjoyed it.
