Wolfman's tactic to tackle Tupou after he got the ball would have worked... if he actually tackled him. No way he was ever going to out leap that lanky f**ker.
Did no one learn anything from Dylan Farrell, it was only a few weeks earlier. Wolfman just had to pull that move once and it would have been the end of Tupou
Reed truly is an example of how bad it has become. Basically, be 100kg and you can play NRL. You have athletes and footballers. Reed's athletic ability is limited due to a lack of pace, and he sure isn't a footballer...bad hands, no real footwork...just 100kg.
how can a guy who had such a breakout debut season just a couple of years ago turn so bad? he scored 12 tries in 2011 and some of them were absolute pearlers, everyone was talking about him. Now he'd be VERY lucky to get a start at any other club.
He's a plodder at best, and an international plodder too. They say red is faster, might be time to dye the hair and drop 10kg? A name change too. And take up baseball.
Had to laugh at the story on NRL.com saying he is happy with his decision to pick the Poms over the Maroons. Of course you are mate, there's pre-schoolers in Red Hill about to pick up a ball for the first time that are closer to selection than your good self.
Might be time to rename the award after that performance from BJ. I've never seen a player be so individually bad and have it so directly contribute to the other team looking passable.
