You might also be saying this, but the Inglis one is much, much worse for that reason.

I know everybody hates Rugby Union around here, but there was a famous one involving an Aussie prop by the name of Matt Dunning.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jx6PdqBTVnE

Pulled from the You Tube clip- "A famously infamous moment in Waratahs history. In 2003, chasing the last spot in the semi-finals, the Waratahs needed to win and score 4 tries to make the semis. With time slowly running out and only two tries scored, Matt Dunning takes a drop goal attempt so that the ref would come back to a penalty called earlier. That only works if the drop goal attempt misses... "

The game was over when Inglis did his trick
The game was over because of Kurt man tricks

No comparison
Kurt mans was a million times worse.

Alright I need to familiarise myself with the Kurt Mann incident..I thought what you were saying is that Mann's side was down by 28 and he went for a drop goal. What happened?

Inglis denied his side one final play to win the game by inexplicably going for the drop goal.

Kurt Mann butchered everything he touched
He dropped passes cold on his own line
Threw it over the sideline
Managed to knock a ball into the corner post with nobody within cooee of him
He missed tackles
Pretty sure he gave away a few penalties
last weekend

Souths were in the Hail Mary situation yesterday and didn't look like remotely scoring even 1 point.

The fact that the Dragons won as soon as Kurt Mann wasn't in the team shows how bad he was last week.

Inglis joins that other great, Terry Lamb, in attempting to kick a field goal when his team was behind by 2 points late in the game and their team still lost. The only difference? At least Lamb's attempt was successful

i reckon GI is thankful it missed, he'd have looked like an even bigger muppet had it gone over and he ran around fishing for high fives from his team mates only to be met with shaking heads and death stares.

Unless I'm getting mad trolled, you and anyone else who's wrote something similar is an absolute pencil...
Of course he knew the score, he just spat the dummy. Ffs. It's not even funny anymore

The previous play he points forward telling the guy to take a hit-up so he can set up for the field goal.

That's got to be the dumbest thing i've ever read (well, at least this week). There's no way in hell that any player down by two points, on the attack in the opposition's half and with time on the clock specifically moves himself into position to kick a field goal just to spit the dummy. It doesn't happen.

There's no doubt he had a good old fashioned brain fart and just forgot the score. I don't know how that happens, but it did. His body language gave it away as soon as he realised and sunk down on his haunches.

You just succeeded in making it even funnier.

I wonder if there is an award for a player on a winning team who tried his hardest to make them lose. If so I present Ben hunt
