I didnt really notice the wolfman very much in the grand final, was he really that bad? The way the fox sports articles describe his game he gives Paul Carige a run for his money and that he's hiding away in shame or something. Its not too unusual for a winger to have a quiet one and not be too involved but i didnt think he had an absolute stinker, did he??

All I remember was him choosing not to contest any bomb, which when you think about him being up against Tupou, isn't a bad idea.

It just didn't work for him

He was watching Tupou instead of the ball every time, was quite comical when the ball hit him because he didn't bother to look up at the ball and it rebounded to Jennings, luckily Brett Stewart was there to save the try, you could see Snake then go off at Wolfy.
In saying that it wasn't his worst game ever, not as bad as his 2 origin games

I've just never understood why Manly don't get him to put on some muscle. Gets dominated way to easy when being tackled.

Watch it again mate, it was piss poor to be honest, he had the reverse Midas touch going.

Doesn't mean he isn't still a decent winger however.

Both Lyon and Stewart could be seen getting very animated with him throughout the game.

Could see he was really off his game out there.

It's unfortunate because he had a fantastic season which was his best since 2008. With ball in hand he didn't do anything special but he didn't make any mistakes, nor did he misread any plays run down his side. It was his poor decision making defending kicks that let him down. Snake could be seen getting quite vocal on a few occasions.

On the Tupou try, I don't think he really had any option but to make the attempt in the way he did. He was never going to win the contest in the air.
