Well, here we are virtually 2 months after the new CEO's newsletter of 21 October where they advised they were searching for a prop to sign for the last vacant slot and no news (in the public forums anyway).

The 2009 season will be commencing soon with training and pre season trials etc, - where is this new signing?

He's 5 foot 2 tall...and wide, can 'run' 100 metres in about 3 days and commands the bargain price of $400k a season.

Any word on Scando ?? I know he's getting on but! I think the tigers are a bit unsettled and having a guy with his experience and influence for even one season would i think be a good investment. He is the type to get their minds on the job and concentrate on footy.

The Skando idea is crazy and would end up like Smokey Moodies illfated return to football. Skando would give 100% but I really doubt he could keep up with the required pace of 2009.Okay he would probably offer more than a broken down footballer from Penrith's reserve grade but the way to go is use Skando to mentor and coach a up and commer
