From what i can tell, it will work as long as you both arent trying to use it at the same time. But if you can make it work with a mate, i highly recommend it, from only using this this arvo, its been well worth the investment

i cant remember my plan but its pretty tame, more tame than i wanted but cost held me back, i recon if i can run it off my wireless connection, most of you boys would be alright

the quality wasnt HD but i was just keen to watch it, i could have upped the quality of the feed if i liked but elected not too for the sake of just checking the lowest level streaming

ill try something on in the next week or so (probably the washington monday night game for a laugh!) on a higher quality and let you boys know

Nah mate i'm the Roosters Forum Mod, as far as I know Cupid is the only Mod in this Board, though If there is enough support for it i'm sure we could PM Twiz about it and get it set up.

What kind of Forum did we want to create? A seperate one for Game Day Threads (ala the NRL Game Day Spoilers Sub-Forum)?

I was thinking one sticky per week to throw in all the scores as there will be 16 matches some weekends and that is a lot to manage for one mod throughout the entire season.

You sign up to NFL.com, username password, then go to game pass and subscribe, you can do it in month installments of $30 which is what im doing (with our dollar it will be even cheaper)

from there you just go ahead and pick a game, or the NFL network to watch live.. and it loads up and you watch it and enjoy

steaming goes really well for me,

whats the download size streaming and quality like from there? I'm guesing it would be a few gigs a game?

good thing is, most of the time its early morning (off peak) so it would add to that.

TBH mate, Im not sure about the usage, but id imagine like you, it wont be small

the quality goes from goodish to full HD depending on your poison... obviously the higher the quality the bigger chunk of usage.

Ill try and check out whats happening per the usage over the next few days and report back. We've got loads of downloads and never get near it so im not too concerned about it myself

Just a Gameday sub forum I think. Or we keep with the gameday threads for each week.

Tbh if you think about it, there's like a trillion mods who are regularly active on this board. Hardly a massive job when you break it down. (Some would consider Ab, the Timmah of NFL, though much slimmer :lol.

EDIT: TBH, i think, more then a Gameday Subforum, i think this Board needs a Fantasy Subforum, looking at the front page of the forum, it's like 50% fantasy stuff.

i think a sub forum where we can have game day discussion would be awesome. Not even a thread for each game, maybe a thread for each time slot of games, or a thread for each day... or in a community as small as ours, if i want to avoid the eagles game result

i can just post a new thread with my comments on other games and preference it in the title "no eagles spoilers" etc

I have Mod powers in the NFL forum, although not actually listed as a Mod. I would be happy to create and manage a subforum, would want to run it by Cupid first though.

I suggested to Coby a few years ago that we create a fantasy subforum but he said the traffic didn't warrant it, i think it's necessary now.

As per that page and the terms and conditions i agreed today as i read them, im reading that ill get live games, as im outside the US area... If i cant get them, i will be a tad annoyed but ill still get them by the time i get home and watch them the following day etc... so not too much lost i guess.

but as i view the page, i think we get live coverage

You wouldn't need a thread for each game surely? Maybe a thread for each timeslot. Ie a 1pm Sunday arvo thread, 4.15pm Sunday arvo thread, 8.30 Sunday thread and a MNF thread each week.

I would prefer a different thread for the Sunday and Monday night games......

A lot of us work 9-5 and cant see the games live. Would like to be able to discuss other results without ruining the TV games before viewing.
