This is annoying......

Right, all seems fine, 4 interchanges, bring some fresh legs on, then what, i get an injury, normally about 3 minutes from end which is annoying then what happens, no-one on the bench and then i have to reset the console, this is another thing that needs to be ironed out !!!!

Is this on PS2?

I have never seen this happen and I make several interchanges during the 20 minute matches I play. If you make 4 interchanges then get an injury, you can just bring one of the players you have subbed back on?

It happened with me last night. I took Mason, Fozzard, Talau and Cunnningham off for fresh legs, then Gardner got injured so I brought Talau back on. Maybe there are isolated incidents that cause this to happen?

it annoys me too, i usually stick with doing 3 interchanges at a time, so just incase an injury comes up, there will be an extra player if the interchanges havent been made

On my PC version I had interchanged 2 players, then had an injury, and only had 2 players on the bench to choose a replacement from.

I think the cause of this is the AI's timing of substitutons and players coming back from the sinbin - they don't happen immediately, they happen at a break in play like a scrum or a penalty whch is surely not right. A player who has served his sinbin time should be able to go back on the field as soon as his sinbin time is up, not have to wait for a break in play which could be minutes away.

As yet I only have the PS2 version, and I have been busy with work.

I love Vietcong!

I can't wait for the expansion pack for VC, as well as the BF Vietnam release.

I guess after playing RL for so long, I am sufferring from playing 1st person shooters.

Anyway, I will soon obtain the PC version, as with the holidays, the kids occupy the TV.
