This Week at Henson

It is like a mini reunion this week when the Jets play Souths Juniors in the JBC with ex Jets Dean Loder, Campbell McNiven, Andrew Abounader, Taufic Nicolas return in what should be a true local derby. The Jets forwards will need to go hard and straight all day to give Hamilton Hughes some room to move and also back each other up. They are capable of playing good football and need to start showing fans that they can more than compete but also win.

Premier League sees ex Jets Frank Samia, Mark Fakahua, Luke Hession return and hopefully will have plenty of nightmares when our backs keep running not only at them but past them in what is a crucial game for the Jets. We have hit some great form in recent weeks and if the forwards keep playing the way theyhave been then another win should happen. If the Tigers are allowed to dominate it will be a tough day at Henson.

Two great wins in a row but this Saturday will be the litmus test for the Jets. If they can beat the Tigers there will be nothing stopping them reaching the semis. While the Tigers are on top, this is a much more skilled and aggressive Jets outfit. I think the Tigers will be in for a shock.

Lets hope there is a huge crowd to really get behind them.

In the JB nothing would be better than a win over South’s.
