Except he patrols too wide and stifles a lot of back line movement.

I agree like Gus has said he can get in the way.
Just watched him play souths in 03 was a running back rower then not now.
I think the whole team physics is just wrong, two left feet.

Does Ricky use pre-made flans when cooking or does he make his own ?

paranoia....

or perhaps it should be parranoia as a mark of respect for your sh*t club's habit of signing Parra rejects.

Actually, now that Gall has almost completely lost his effectiveness as a wide running second rower, I think it's finally time to move him to prop.

He plays like a prop

actually now that you mention it, he does play like a prop.

but where are you going to stick him?

on the bench?

he would make a good impact player, but considering his statistics, he should be on the field the whole game.

dougie on the bench is another thought.

I'm sure Gallen will end up at prop at some stage of his career.

Gallen Is actually one of Flanagan's biggest challenges.

He has a great work rate and is an extremely important component of the team. However he does get in the way at times with our attack. But I'm sure Gallen doesn't think this.

If he can coax Gallen into playing prop with Snowden and concentrate his running in the centre of the field making big metres and getting some second phase happening our pack takes on a completely new dimension. Sowden/Gallen starting prop pair would be an awesome combination. Both are uncompromising, both have a great offload on them for second phase and both enjoy the rough and tumble of the game.

It also would mean we need to chase backrowers not front rowers on the players market this season. What do people think of this as a possible starting pack for next year?

Kade Snowden
Paul Aiton
Paul Gallen
Frank Prtichard (New Purchase)
Anthony Tupou
John Morris

Tough front rowers as described above. A zippy hooker who drives ruck defenses batty.

Two backrowers with strong running games and a lock fit enough to do Gallen's tackling workrate but would have also a better passing game and better mobility.

On the bench you could then have.

Luke Douglas
Grant Millington
Siosaia Vave/Josh Cordoba/Broderick Wright
Stuart Flanagan

vave would be my first pick out of that lot DS (for the ebnch).

the kid plays with heart.

i love it when he comes on.

makes some mistakes (typical rookie mistakes) but will improve in time.

also, whats the go with johnny mannah?

Sticky should do what bellyache did and start him in the backrow then move him to the frontrow when one of the props come off.

Im surprised Smith lasted as long as he did...I honestly can't pick(on form) a worse halfback at this point in time in the NRL
yeah Smith's out of form alright, but how about Douglas at 5/8? he has a good kicking game. not! if you have suddenly noticed this invisible text you we will also realise you have been punked, hahahaha
