They seem to have a bit more bounce and pace at some venues particularly with the new ball

Flat wickets obviously make batting easier but the use of two new balls makes batting in the latter parts of the innings even easier. I believe the use of two new balls needs to be reviewed and even possibly scrapped.

Great read about one of the main issues facing this world cup in the UK, the lack of FTA coverage.

Key stat to take out of it - whilst the world cup is averaging half a million viewers per game in the UK, the womens soccer world cup is pulling nearly 6 million on FTA.

The last thing we need is more minnows. It’s a shame about the weather which you can’t control being an outdoor sport, but this WC is good as every game has meaning and teams can’t rest players

How do minnows stop being minnows if they aren’t allowed to play.

For cricket purposes they kinda are. Ireland cricket is an all of Ireland team, meaning Northern Ireland is included.
