Did anyone see Thaiday's spear tackle on SBW right at the end of the game?

Luckily for Thaiday SBW managed to get into a position to land on his hands, but the commentators didn't mention it at all and a replay wasn't shown.

Seriously?

Did no one see this?

Brad Thorn - the man who in 2003 said that winning an NRL premiership is nothing compared to winning the Rugby World Cup. Too bad NZ choked in the semi.

Utter wanker

Nothing to see at all. As i said, the report system is just there to give the "victim" a rest of the sidelines.
Just because it is not put on report doesnt mean the player will go unpunished.

Learn the rules Henry

Yeah winning a competition involving over 30 nations of the world is nothing compared to winning a competition based on the east coast of Australia.:sarcasm:

I'm no rugby union fan, but you Sir Guru should look in the mirror and start asking some hard questions.

For starters I'm a miss.

And I was more talking about Thorn under-valuing his NRL achievement, and comparing it to something he's never experienced.

Well miss Guru, I don't think you understand the importance and expectation the New Zealand public put and still do put on the All Blacks to win the world cup. If you did you'd understand where Thorn was coming from at the time.

Sorry, when you said you're a 'miss' I thought you were talking about your questionable ability of observation about players such as Brad Thorn, not your gender.

Brad Thorn rolled the dice and actually made the All Black team ... I don't know too many other players in league who would even consider trying to do that - particularly forwards.

Can't imagine Nathan Hindmarsh dropping league to give the Wallabies a crack (pardon the pun). For a forward that would probably mean a cut in pay as well.

It took a lot of guts and determination for Brad Thorn to make that decision - and he succeeded.

I know for a fact that Brad Thorn is also one of the most community minded players in the Broncos team and gives a lot of his time to charity.

So what I'm saying Miss Guru is this ... pull ya head in!
