Raider Trevor Thurling stood down following motor accident
April 10, 2009
Canberra forward Trevor Thurling has been stood down by the NRL club after being arrested by police following a motor accident in Sydney on Thursday night.
The club said that Thurling, 24, was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and will appear in court next month.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner said Thurling had been stood down from all playing and club commitments until further notice.
The Raiders are very disappointed with Trevor's actions in this matter and have taken appropriate measures by standing him down from all playing and club commitments until the matter is dealt with by the appropriate authorities, Furner said.
Trevor has broken the Raiders' code of conduct by drinking while injured and more seriously put himself and others in danger by his actions.

I can not believe players are still carrying on with rubbish like this.
Guess we can throw some more potential on the fire.
