sure david williams is an imposter, not really a footballer, just a man with a beard, but to kick him in tha face??? seems bit tough doesnt it.

You're kidding ... it was an instinctive, un-premeditated action. Thurston is a great player, with a clean history. One/two weeks max ... if any.

The kick was disgraceful. Can't wait to hear people defend and un-defendable act. Just like players leading in with their feet to try and stop a try, what Thurston did was far worse IMO.

From memory, Merritt got two weeks near the start of the season for leading with the feet and making minimal contact. Thurstons was much worse (though I very much doubt intentional) and you would think deserves a week or two more.

If Waterhouse was sent off for tackling a guy who was punching his mate (albeit by that stage White had taken care of the problem in emphatic style) then Thurston should definitely have been sent off for viciously and recklessly kicking a guy in the face, whether he was aiming for the ball or not...

Couldnt believe that he was allowed to be all over Barrett's head in the first few minutes with the ref right there. Aid to that the kick , Gidley should have given him a touchup for that, if a NSW player did that there is an all in brawl. It wasnt leading with the feet it was a straight up kick. Cant deny that. Probably here nothing of him spitting if he indeed did
