Anyone have any links to how many tickets have been sold for the four nations games? Mainly interested in the NZ games. Would have thought all have a chance of selling out

Suncorp looks to be selling well for the double header. According to the ticketek website the following ticket bands are either sold out or single tickets only:-

Platinum (Single Seats Only)
Gold (Allocation Exhausted)
Australia Supporters Bay - Bronze (Allocation Exhausted)
NZ Supporters Bay - Silver (Single Seats Only)
NZ Supporters Bay - Bronze (Allocation Exhausted)
Samoa Supporters Bay - Silver (Allocation Exhausted)

Received an email from the NRL to promote this game stating over 30,000 tickets had been sold.

There seems to be a lot of advertising for the double header so i'm not sure if that is a case of needing to drum up more support / numbers or just stanadard procedure.

Either way I'll be there with my crew of five !

I'd like to think the crowd will get there for the first game and stick around for the second.

Would imagine a good majority of the England and Samoa supporters will stay to cheer on New Zealand.
Would be good if crowd can nudge 40,000.

Managed to find some tidbits on how the NZ games are selling. According to Ticketek NZ Category A Covered is Sold out for the Kiwis v Samoa game at Whangarei. Bit more press here...

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/northern-advocate/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503448&objectid=11342149

No concrete numbers for the NZ v England test in Dunedin yet, but found this article....

http://www.odt.co.nz/sport/league/316778/rugby-league-excitement-building-kiwis-test-looms

Martin is optimistic the Kiwis will attract a crowd of 20,000.

''According to the Forsyth Barr Stadium folk, there have been the equivalent sales, this far out, as there would be for an All Blacks test match, so that has to be encouraging.''

Hmm, interesting comments in that first article. Had read that Toll Stadium in Whangarei holds 30,000. Article says 24,000 - which is probably a good thing considering I wouldn't be confident of NZ v SAM selling that many tickets. But it also sounds like ticket sales haven't been strong, hopefully they can get 15,000?

A crowd of 20,000 for the match against England sounds pretty good. I wonder how the final is selling?

Nothing concrete, but more encouraging news from Dunedin....

http://www.odt.co.nz/sport/league/320888/league-thrilled-sales-tickets-city-test

Tickets for the first Kiwis test in Dunedin in 86 years are selling faster than at any other venue for the Four Nations.

Just how many tickets have been sold for the match against Great Britain on November 8 at Forsyth Barr Stadium is a mystery, because the New Zealand Rugby League is refusing to disclose specific numbers.

However, NZRL southern zone general manager Steve Martin said fans from inside and outside Otago had been getting behind the match.
''We are thrilled with the ticket sales to date. With over two weeks to go, and the Kiwis in action on Saturday night in Australia, the game looks likely to be close to a sellout."

Sell out would be around 30,000. A fantastic result!

Oh and lol, "Great Britain".
