Tigers After Carney For 2010

Bryce Gibbs going to be the next big thing 4 years ago. After season 08, we're all still waiting for SOMETHING. 1 good game in every 8 doesn't make you a good player. If he's sh*t again in season 09, f*ck him off.

Please tell me he's just as sh*t as Te'o and Harrison so I can go to bed with a smile on my face.

1 -Laurie isnt a front rower-impact wide running second row off the bench, even Sheens has said thats where he thinks Laurie will be best used.

2---Payten also more a second rower than a frontrower, although can be used up front if needed.

3---Gibbs--a myth

4--Galloway will burn out if forced to carry the pack again this season.

As for frontrowers off contract come 2010--Bull Bailey is one that comes to mind. You need at leat one old head to help with the development of the young kids

thats not true we play so much better with Payton at prop

mate i know you love the guy but there's no way in hell you can say gibbs has shown us anything in the last 3 years to suggest he will be anything apart from a fringe first grader.

yes he is fit and is great in defence however he is the softest runner of the ball for a prop in the nrl, has no offload and gives away stupid penalties at will.

let me ask you this, if he was on the open market how many clubs do you think would be lining up for his signature? probably us and souths, thats about it.

Everyone inside the bunker at camp concord rate Gibbs big time, just cant see why. Okay his defense is good but hardly punishing. His hit up are rubbish. Line breaks could be count on one hand over three years. No1 for brain explosions. Okay he is fit and can run all day, but their is a lot more to being a class front rower and he is miles away from the mark at present

I used to think Gibbs would be something but he hasn't been the player since he was knocked down by the odious O'Meley in that game against the dogs in 2006, I think it was.

He can tackle all day but doesn't run the ball hard enough. Are they going to play Skandalis this year?

Just one thing in Gibbs defense, its very hard to be dominant in a forward pack that gets smashed week in and week out. Ellis might make a different. If the whole pack lifts than Gibbs might start showing some form

Our forward pack gets smashed every week, and Hino still shows he is one of the best back rowers in the game. Heck, even Galloway shows he could handle the next level. The reason our forward pack gets dominated is because we have hacks like Gibbs who offer nothing ball in hand.

At other clubs, he would be on the bench behind older harder heads, being groomed as a top-liner.

We suck... he does not.

Gibbs does have potential. So far he hasn't lived up to it. If he proves to be a latern {dim and needs to be carried} again this year then piss him off.

He's been "groomed" ever since he's come into first grade. I'm sick of hearing it.

He's sh1t.

How many other props his age are top-line and leading their teams?

The only decent ones would be in top notch packs, and to be honest i can't think of any.

Honestly, what does Gibbs bring to our side in terms of positive attributes?

Apart from being a decent defender, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

If he is too young to be a dominant prop stick him in NSW cup until he's good enough.

He's 24 years old, how old does he have to be before he magically becomes good enough?
