BEWARE the baby Broncos. Wests Tigers captain Darren Senter can tell you a few things about facing a weakened Broncos side.

He captained the Tigers in 2002 when they lost to a team dubbed the baby Broncos, a side playing without their State of Origin representatives.

Tonight at Suncorp, the Broncos will be without their captain Gorden Tallis (suspension) as well as Darren Lockyer (rib) and Shane Webcke (calf). The casualty ward also includes Barry and Shaun Berrigan, Michael De Vere, Craig Frawley, Michael Ryan and Brett Seymour.

"Even though they have quality players out, their depth is never questioned," Senter said.

"They've got such a big area to pick their players from that you see good young players come through every year, each year you see a couple of really talented players coming through."

While Senter, Mark O'Neill and Robbie Mears will play tonight, they are virtually the only ones who experienced the 28-14 loss at Campbelltown Stadium in 2002.

WTF does this mean?

Poor journalism if you ask me. Is she not sure if there were others that experinced the game 2 years back, or is it a reference to some Broncos who may have been there but she couldnt be bothered checking?

Prince was there????
Minto?
Macguire?
Tate?
Skando?
Galea?
Fitzy?

It sounds like everyong is switched on and well we all know how we play when that happens - the big lifting factor is that if we do win today we have all but made sure that we will be in the 8 at the end of the season and that could be enough motivation on its own ;-)
