Technically its still very possible. No one was ever talking about receiving the licence from the NRL, more so that it would revert to one of the clubs should WT go bust.

in the campbelltown local newspaper.. big 2 page article on it.. pretty much an interview with noyce.. but it states we are i ntill 2011

Yes that's great news..... except for one thing News limited will be taking away the 2.5million $$ grant start 2006,that is is why people like myself rant and rave about the way the club is going has this season been a success Yes if we make the 8! No if we don't! WHY with the pokie tax etc and the club not even able to make a top 8 you do the MATH!!! you don't have to be real smart.

Actually, the $2.5 million comes from the NRL ( not News Ltd directly..), and if anything, this amount will be increased over the coming years ( when hopefully the NRL gets a better deal from TV rights)...

Gallop said on Fox' NRL State of the Game special two weeks ago that eventually the NRL wants to be able to fund each's clubs salary cap through annual grants....

Now that is a reputible publication! This paper is probably used by the locals to keep themselves warm during the winter........

Hahaha...Balmain are Wests Magpies other half for another 7 years....so much for that stat that says 49% of all marriages end in divorce.

and i dont care what paper it was written in.. hell it coulda been written on toilet roll for all i care.. it's a newspaper.. it was an interview with noyce and the words came right out of his mouth.. what more could you want?
