"I unconditionally state that a) Hodgson will continue as fullback
b) We will stick with Farah at 1/2 "

Who am I?

Oh Jamaal's versatility will be tested again. I'm putting a lazy $100 on him to score first try so I can fund my holiday to Broken Hill. He should be paying $45

...
I'm surprised that Farah and Halatau have been listed. Both subject to fitness tests I suppose?
Whatuira must be back within the next 12 weeks. I rate his SO highly!!!!!!!!!!!! Fatts & Collis will be the best combination in the league within the next few seasons.

Can't believe Whatuira is still out. It's getting ridiculous. I wish the Tigers would just TELL us when he's back.

Farrah is likley to miss the game

as for O'Dwyer just have a little look at the last few games

Mate, your side is hardly a team of superstars. Very much a middle of the road side. That's all I was trying to point out.

BTW Collis has been our best all year. He's the best centre I have seen at Balmain or Wests Tigers since Ellery Hanley. IMO he has more promise than Benji who could always be troubled by a dodgy shoulder and Farah who has been pretty well contained this yr.

Don`t worry about Gibbs`, he`ll do the job for us, it`s the blokes who are meant to be creating opportunities and scoring points for us that are the problem. Lack of strike power in the back row and centres a major concern. We do miss Whatuira and i agree that Collis is a super talent, but he`s been getting very few decent attacking opportunities. We have some very good back rowers who should be capable of denting the opposing defence if not making line busts or at the very least some second phase, but for whatever reason, they have been standing flat and basically been running one out for the majority of this season. Why, i`ll never know, but it`s not working and if it doesn`t change as of this weekend, we simply won`t score enough points to even beat an average side such as the Eels!!!

i have seen collis... oh k he goes alryt... but nothing to write home about. imo he is solid... runs good likes, good support player, does create much himself... grothe, hayne, mckinnon and b.smith are all better outside backs imo. im sure collis is a right centre, meaning he will be up against benny smith, who i rate as one of the best defencive centres in the comp... his one on one tackle are superb, and his ability to cut down thinking time for the attacking team, he has contaned gas before... he will deal with collis. ps i always rated whatuira a better centre than collis

9 try assists and 15 line breaks (both in the top 20 in the NRL), to go along with 7 tries by Round 20, no, he doesn't create much by himself does he?

He's injured and Collis won't make way for him on his return, Elford will.

tiger stats dont say it all. it depends on the team... as centre he would throw the last pass many times to winger... that would count as try assist, but it doesn't go back to who started the movement. look at the best centres, gas often beats his man to produce somthing out of nothing... same as tahu cooper hodges and tate... they are top centres. collis like odwyer runs holes well, needs a good half to put him through, which widders has done for odwyer. i didnt call him bad, but he isn't anything to brag about. nd elford will mke wy for whaturia, because collis is better than eforld... but what would happen if u had a tahu r gass on the other side, id say collis would be shifted to the wing. why? because whatuira is a player who can create opperunities with his strength

HAve you watched Collis actually play you muppet. Listen to the likes of Sheens, Gould and Sterling talk about him. 3 brains who might know a bit more than you. He's been our player of the season this year by a mile. Hahaha. Ben Smith. Like Tim, Jeremy and Brian anoither spastic smith at home in the blue and gold.

Perhaps if you could construct a coherent sentence you wouldn't sound like such a donkey. Who am I kidding, you'd sound like a donkey anyway. FFS, you're comparing Collis to O'Dwyer you clown.

As respects the stats, how do you explain no other centre being in the top 20 in the entire NRL for try assists? I do agree 100% that Collis runs good lines but unlike someone like Tahu, who simply runs and gets tackled and has no vision or passing ability whatsoever (being a winger masquerading as a centre after all), Collis reads the situation better than most 20 year olds with his level of experience. His ability to put his inside/outside support player over the line, on top of his footwork and pace, will see him represent NSW & Australia in the future.

His defence is also first rate, like most he will miss the odd tackle but generally he is very sound. The majority of times an opposition 3/4 makes a break down his side is when he is defending 3 in and the likes of grabby Prince is defending in his position.

u have both just contradicted urselves...
unlike someone like Tahu, who simply runs and gets tackled and has no vision
im not even goin 2 reply to such stupidity, tahu is one of the greatest althlete is the comp. Has the ability to make opposition centres look stupid. anyone who claims that collis is better than tahu discredits every statment they make. u claim collis skills
will see him represent NSW & Australia in the future.
, yet tahu is one of the first picked in the nsw and australian team.
His ability to put his inside/outside support player over the line, on top of his footwork and pace...His defence is also first rate, like most he will miss the odd tackle but generally he is very sound
Mabey you should watch tahu play, i do remember him setting up morris a few weeks ago, drifted down feild drawing the fullback in making him think he was ready to pass on the outside, and turned it back on the inside... yet u claim he has no vision. his defence is also a grade. dont compare a rookie to one of the best centres in the comp.
Ben Smith. Like Tim, Jeremy and Brian anoither spastic smith at home in the blue and gold.
yer nice argument... benny has been injured most of the year... but mabey u should have looked at him last year... if u dont remember scoring tries from reading tim smith kicks to perfection... ability to put grothe away, and his good support play... but he also scored tries from defence, putting his oppisite centre under pressure forcing errors. he was also able 2 contain the likes of gasnier and cooper.
collis is young... 20 years old. he doesn't need great vision like a 5-8 or halfback. he has speed, which enables him to finish off well. but for you to come out and talk about him like he is god... you are well off the mark. there are much better centres than him in the comp... but he is young, and has time on his hand. also i wouldn't claim him a definate representative player... cross was always talked up as a future nsw star, but NSW has so much depth in the outside backs... he will compete against gas, cooper, king, tahu, lyon who are all capable of playing in the centres, and i rate a fair bit more than collis. also jnrs like hayne, benny, (that knewcastle centre/5-8 sorry forgot his name)... he has a long way to go to be considered a contender for the NSW jersey let alone australians player where he also will contend again players like tate hodges tonga and bell... all these players are still young aswell.

Wow a 7ft tall centre who can jump for kicks put it by his mong forward pass throwing hack halfback. He's the new Langlands. Tell you what clown. Put either of them on the open market and see who fetches more. Smith or Collis. Parra never had the class to win it. Steamrolling sh*t like souths in Round 12 doesn't win you comps. Collis has vision and hands and could play 5/8 easily. Ben Smith is a hack and will do nothing.

You claim Tahu is a great athlete (which I agree with), well Collis is a footballer. There's a big difference.

Tahu isn't one of the first picked for NSW or Australia and if he is, it's on the wing. He left the Knights because Hagan wouldn't play him in the centres (because Hagan knew he wasn't good enough). Let's see where he plays next year.

Tahu is a great winger and I would jump at the chance to sign him on the wing but put simply, he isn't a centre.

To reiterate Tahu is well behind the pecking order for a NSW, let alone an Australian jersey playing centre so you're wrong again.

ben smith and collis are different footballers... smith is a power centre similar to hodges... benny has pace but ofcourse not that of collis. collis uses his pace, but againt does not have the strength or defencive capbilites of benny. we can argue all day who is better, but they are both good young players... not superstars of the game. tahu is one of the first picked for nsw, and australia. he will play, wether it on the wing or centres he will play... he has proven he has a good football mind, and great athletic abilities to excell and be considered one of the best outside backs in the comp. his peers agree... no commentator has ever doubted him... so u making urself look like a fool. to cliam that benny is a hack... well all i can say is write him off at ur own peril... this argument will be proven on sunday.
and hagan came out and said tahu has proven himself as one of the top centres in the comp... and will play there. he also said that he knew tahu always was capable of playn centre, it just never suited the at full strength... although he did impress there often when injuries occured. go back and watch the 2001 grand final... tahu destroyed one of the best defencive teams in the history of the game in the centres ;)
