Hmm, so where's Graham gone? i didn't think he was playing too badly. Good to see Fulton get another run, im predicting big things from this kid. I don't think Mears is really needed on the bench, should of put Gray in there instead, IMO. Also good to see The Halatau back in the centers and Covell still on the wing.

Graham has been one of our better players, annoying to see him not there. Good to see Liam getting a run. I would have started he or Isaac in the halves though.

Where do all you people get a hold of the team several hours before its officially announced?
If this is the official team it looks like I was right, re: Fitzy in the 7.
Sheens has gone for as minimal disruption to the team as possible it looks like.
I like it, considering Prince aint there.

Fitzy in the halves is the obvious chioce

Dazza back as captain will do us the world of good!

Grahme gone isn't a big loss I actually think we gain something with Fulton on the bench

Gibbs and Payten on the bench is great 2 Front Rowers on the bench at the same time is great!!!! about time we started to get some compition in that department!!!!

Also does Grahme go back to Wests??

Good to see Graham goooone! Now I just need to see O`Neill replaced by Heighnington and I really would believe the team is finals material and there to make an impact!

does any1 think that halatau should be an impact player like the penrith reserves SWAIN RODNEY they are good enough to start just they do a great job after 20 mins i think dene has had his best games charging at the fowards he doesnt make an impact in the centre anymore i dont think .

I think Halatau is most effective in the back row either starting or off the bench
Whats wrong with Bronson in the centres? In his limited time in 1st grade he`s been played in the second row as he now seems to be doing for Balmain Premier League. He is big, strong, fast and very hard to handle one on one.Isn`t that what you look for in a quality centre?

I disagree

Dene does well in the backrow because he is as gutsy as they come - but he's too small for it, asking him to keep it up permanently and i think we'll start to see it take a toll on him with injuries.

He's a true utility who can play just about anywhere in the backline but I think will settle well into centre when it comes time for him to take a permanent role in the top 13

Bronson on the other hand has imo played his best footy at lock - his performances in first grade so far are not in any way an indication of what he is capable of and while he's got it in him to be a fine centre he injected himself into the game so much more when they moved him into lock and I hope to see him end up there in the future.

I don't think Graham deserved to be punted, but I like bringing Gibbsie back and Fulton a run.

Prob should have kept Mears out for Graham.

Coz even if Senter is injured or taken off, you can move Fitzy to dummy, Benji to half and someone can play 5/8th for a stint eg Galea or Sattler.

I couldn`t believe how small Halatau was when I saw him at one of the presentations late last year, but he plays well above his weight!I just think Denes constant involvement when playing in the forwards means he is a little wasted in the centres.Bronsons work rate obviously is nowhere near as big,but his impact is more powerful. He is a potential match winner and that is why I think he is better off doing less defence out in the centres!

Im predicting a Sheens smokescreen :

Fulton to 5/8
Marshall to 1/2 back
Halatau or Fitzhenry at centre or bench

yappy, you might get your wish and see Fulton at 5/8.

Has Fulton got a kicking game though ?

Hello everyone glad to be here. I think the team is quite solid wth Halatau in the centres and Gibbs and Payton on the bench. I suppose the obvious worry is Fitzhenry at half. He has got some talent but not quite sure how to use it and I hope his kicking game is up to scratch.

Plenty of skill in the team.....lets just hope we can control the ball. If we do we are a good chance.

what is sheens doing? fitzy isnt a half. He should have promoted either kerr, branigan or thompson. This is a joke. Also covell must do the goal kicking on the weekend

Fitzy will be a better half than five-eighth. My main worry now is our long kicking game against two of the best in Sherwin and Anasta. I remember Benji kicking some 40/20's on T.V in schoolboys but this is obviously very different. Satts and Benny Galea may have to help the halves in this department.

The Dogs still have a good pack and they will be getting told 'this is your chance, perform or its back to the reggies next week' certainly will make them hungry.

Having it @ Gosford can only help, surly all the neutral fans will be on our side!

It`s one of the strongest line ups we`ve fielded all year and if everyone puts in as they have been it should be another win!2 in a row,is it possible?
