Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has moved Robbie Farah back to hooker for the clash against Cronulla Sharks at Leichhardt Oval on Friday, August 29, at 7.30pm in round 25 of the Telstra Premiership.

John Morris returns to the half-back position to partner five-eighth Benji Marshall.

Tim Moltzen has been named in the centres alongside Chris Lawrence to replace the injured Dean Collis (knee).

Second-rower Corey Payne returns to the team after serving a one game suspension.

Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers prop/backrower Alan Schirnack has been named on a five man interchange bench. Should he play, it will be his first grade debut.

GREAT WORK MR SHEENS

massive changes
we move an already tried (failed) no 7 back.
Moltzen to center is sh*t if i was ryan i would be wondering WTF Surley Gallant to the wing and ryan to center is so much better.
That bench will get killed
That alan guy won't even take the field.

Sharks to score 30+

So much for massive changes and droppings aye

Metisulia is the ONLY player (other then injuries) to get dropped from the Manly game and he was by far the best forward we had.

Morris to 7, im just gonna laugh... maybe since this is the 50th time we have tried that it will work this time ??

Moltzen who is a half or fullback to centre, thumbs up great idea coach ! I guess cause the centres never see the ball he doesnt really care who plays there.

Ashyford or Ryan who are true centres miss out.

Only positive there is Laurie starting, congrats to the big man he 150% deserves it purely because of the size of his heart !

Sheens has to be in the back pocket of a indian bookmaker. I think that monkey on the sharks back is about to out jump steve hooker and without a pole

Damn Ticketek. I spent $495 on tickets to the Titans game next week that are non-refundable. At least the moneys not going to the Tigers. I love Leichhardt and have travelled down there this year to watch a game but i wouldnt give a toss if 3000 people turned up.

Farah won't play. Waters from the Maggies will play half with either Flanagan or Morris at hooker

If Farah is a late omission Moltzen will play at halfback, Morris at hooker. Halatau to centre, Fulton to lock. Harrison or Schirnack will be peeling the oranges...

Here's hoping they can click and get their act together but I suspect the rot has set in and they may get thumped as Cronulla has more to play for.

At very least I'd be experimenting with 1/2 back, Morris is a failed experiment- try someone else. Nothing to loose.

For sure. Maybe he is stuck in the 20's because they have a good chance at finals? I suppose the thought process is "there is always next year".

LOL the biggest change to the side is the friggen venue. So at this rate to change players ,the 18 -24 months Sheens was craping on about seems realistic.

Dunley broke his hand a few weeks back I think. No use throwing him to the wolves half fit, the poor kid would get smashed and never be heard of again.

Waters will play half

I don't think we should take players from the magpies side now, they're coming up to the finals and the last thing we should do is damage their momentum by taking some of their players.

It's virtually impossible for the Tigers to get in the eight, lets at least make sure the Maggies stand a good chance of going as far as they can in reggies imo.
