Tigers to make offer for Priddis?

The Telegraph today printed the rumour that the Tigers will make a "HUGE" offer to Luke Priddis for next season.

He is a very good player, but do we want ANOTHER hooker in our line up? I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him, but I feel like I'd rather the money go to a position that we cannot fill so easily.

Also makes me wonder about Sheensie's opinion of Rob Farah.

On rob farah,rob is a young bloke who no doubts will be
a star in the future.If we lost senter and mears I think

I think it would be a good move, as long as we can hang on to Robbie. Sign priddis up for a couple of years and robbie can serve an appreticeship of sorts under him. He'd learn a lot. I rate priddis as the 2nd best hooker in the game after Wing (not a big fan of buderus).

He is ok but not worth big money the big forwards and gower make priddis look good. Hang on to Farah i think he is the real thing has more skills than most of the dummy halfs in the league just need to play more games gain some experience and we will have a champion.

Unfortunately the mail that the Tigers are set to make a large bid for Priddis is getting stronger!!

Hopefully it is a ploy by Priddis' Manager to bump up his fee with the Panthers - but given some of our disgraceful recruitment decisions in the past - it is not outside the realms of possibility in my opinion!!

My concern is that this agenda is being driven by the same hooker-centric thinking that marred Simmons coaching at Penrith!! Simmons seems to think the no. 9 is the most crucial spot in the team and displayed that bias over the years by selecting his best player (and a world class halfback) in Gower out of position at hooker with limited success!!!!

I am just praying that Penrith retain him and none of this sh*t comes to fruition!!!
