Gee.. maybe they should have gone to the video ref for that one.

He missed with his hands, and scored with his chin?

Terrible call. He missed the grounding.

Edit: Went off too soon. Other angle showed he had a finger on it, and that's all they need these days.

Mullaney was best on ground for both teams. Andrew Fifita not far behind. Tigers unlucky not to win.

FFS, get your head out of your ass
it was a blatant double movement
and the last Storm try was a 50-50 call - i can see why Tigers fans might think it was not a try and I could see why Storm fans could see why it was a try.

I know you must be terribly upset, but once again youre ignorance is outstanding...IQ slo mo showed he touched the ball as it was on the ground, and never have I seen a more clear cut DM than Dwyers.

I thought we had that one in the bag. Fifita and Mullaney both looked the goods out there, whilst Lui looked very ordinary. Last try was a bit iffy, but they don't have video ref for the NYC so that's going to happen, they should've done a better job cleaning it up.

Tough luck Tigers fans, I thought you were the better team all day. As a Broncos supporter, I can only sympathise and congratulate you on your fantastic prospects coming through. Your forward pack is awesome and your young fullback should hopefully get a chance to share his wares in first grade.

Melbourne...well what can I say that hasn't already been said? Well done on the Toyota Cup Grand Final victory and I believe your side is filled with some of the best players of the 2010's.

Nothing to do with the head.

It looked like he got a finger tip to it before his head came into contact with it ... but was there any downward pressure? That's the question. I can argue either way. And the double movement was blatant and easy to call.

That decision could have cost a team a grand final (widdops try). Maybe just for the grand final?

It's not like the video refs get it right anyway. 2006 anyone? At least this way if the refs get it wrong we don't have to sit around waiting for 5 minutes for them to do so.
