Provided he is on decent coin, I like the re-signing, I think Tighe has been pretty good for us lately, at least he provides a bit of pace and footwork to our backline.

Decent from the club's perspective anyway ;)

Agree though, good signing imo. Has played really well this year, and for most of last year as well. Turned into a solid first grader.

I hope so. We need to re-sign Coote, Grant and McKendry next season

Good signing. Very good centre or winger.

Doesn't get much of a look in for a centre spot these days. Adrian's doing to good a job.

Seriously, thou I agree with Fibroman our season is in serious danger of going the same way as 2008 and 2009 unless ME address the Purtell situation.

Fortune favours the brave and I would be bringing Bob Blair back in. ME wont but I would.

I wonder if the local TAB's rallied together to put forward a Third Party deal to keep Tighe in Penrith :D

The Aussie Arms weighed in with free bistro meals and evenings with Fibroman on the pokies. Fibroman is good entertainment value and if he is cashed up he will fund Brad's punting on the King of the Nile.

I still can't believe we re-signed him for another 3 years, I know I should have faith in Gus and Cleary but the guy offers nothing really, he has pace but is no threat to break the line, would've preferred to see the money spent elsewhere

We signed Lewis Brown, we've got good, young explosive backrowers coming through and Tighe isn't on that much money at all.

Should he have been re-signed...probably not...but for what he is on...he'll be handy depth in time. We wouldn't attract a JWH for a third of what Tighe is on.

How exactly is it a total waste of money and what would we attract with his money (which isn't significant at all!)

Honestly...bit of perspective wouldn't go astray.

How much do you think Tighe is on?

If we re-signed him for cheap then I don't mind as he has some FG experience, however I suspect we paid significantly more than the minimum and to be that's not money well spent.

Would rather see us going after some young talent
