Definitely going to be regretting this one down the track. Although IMO if he is to be in first grade it should be on the wing... he's not very dangerous in attack at all and the only way he's effective is if he can get the ball on the other side of the line or with a wide hole in front of him. Has the pace to be a decent finisher, but not the strength or skill to create anything for himself or the bloke outside of him.

How much do you think Tighe is on?

If we re-signed him for cheap then I don't mind as he has some FG experience, however I suspect we paid significantly more than the minimum and to be that's not money well spent.

Would rather see us going after some young talent

Yeah because I'm sure we'll attract plenty of young guys for that money...

Given that I said he's on a third of what JWH is going to attract, that should give you an idea.

Don't think so. I thought he'd be on a fair bit but apparently not that much.

My tip is he wont necessarily be in first grade after mid-way through next year and we'll let him go before his third year to the ESL.

If it works out that way then it's fine. When we sign players to long term (3 or more years) it feels like we're committing to them for first grade for the majority of that time atleast.

When the players also commit to those deals, it's hard to imagine they're not atleast decent value aswell. But then that's probably more a sour taste from the previous management where the players leaving the club were always far more talented and valuable then the players coming to the club. Last year was another year like that, but atleast this year we've already added a quality player in Lewis Brown.

If we re-sign Flash and add another couple of quality first graders to our roster we should be sweet for next season. As heartbreaking as our losses this year have been, looking at our roster we're playing much better then we should be IMO. Between the injuries we've got and the roster we've started with, we are playing well above my expectations of the start of this season.

If he signed a deal to take him until he's 31. That is that low then he is the stupidest human alive. Given a few ESL sides signed absoulate garbage. Surely he had offers over there.
