If it works out that way then it's fine. When we sign players to long term (3 or more years) it feels like we're committing to them for first grade for the majority of that time atleast.
When the players also commit to those deals, it's hard to imagine they're not atleast decent value aswell. But then that's probably more a sour taste from the previous management where the players leaving the club were always far more talented and valuable then the players coming to the club. Last year was another year like that, but atleast this year we've already added a quality player in Lewis Brown.
If we re-sign Flash and add another couple of quality first graders to our roster we should be sweet for next season. As heartbreaking as our losses this year have been, looking at our roster we're playing much better then we should be IMO. Between the injuries we've got and the roster we've started with, we are playing well above my expectations of the start of this season.
