Talk about surrounding yourself with Winners.

Imagine how much Sheens would of loved to have pu that side out

* SOme of his love Childs who have recently had well deserved contract extentions ( Fitz, Mac)
* Plenty of average, ageing and undersized backrowers
* Plenty of hacks who played for pitiful Penrith previously
* Plenty of his big money signings.

What a Team, What a Supercoach.

Hahahaha. The ironic thing is if he had those players simultaneously available that would be the side. Sheens is a f**king buffoon.

Sheens lost all of my respect and support at the start of 2005. I realised then the man is completely out of his mind.

People that say our premiership victory was a fluke make a valid point.

Sheens didn't want that squad in 2005. He whinged in the media how we had lost so much experience with the likes of Sattler Senter Buetner Moodie etc..leaving. He gave us no chance of winning the comp. It was by sheer luck that Shines had very limited amount of 30+y.o mongs to pick from and was forced to select young players with actual talent.

Fitzhenry, without a doubt.

Once again, I don't think Galloway should be there. No arguments about any of the others though.

Sattlers the captain.

I could just players letting through line breaks, with Sattler playing as a rover behind the line, just waiting for another "miracle tackle"

The highlighted players have all either won comps or gone bloody close.

I would call them winners too :D

Apparently Sheens is about to sign Ben Reynolds younger brother 'Bert' to a lifetime contract.

Not as quick, skillful or as solid in defence as his older sibling, Sheens sees plenty of potential in this 'star of the future'.

Sheens' scouts are also looking at Nick Grahams older brother 'Neville'.

Sheens was heard to say, "I don't give a f**k if he's only got one leg, we can get him at a good price".

He's a second rower, so he gets an automatic start

Hahahaah. Another from Shines' and Ronalds famed stable of pedestrian, pillow back rowers.
Heighington must be very nervous given his yardage this year. His 16 hit ups/150 odd metres a game stats are at odds with the Sheens prototype backrower of 8 hit ups/52m

I think Moltzen is reaching levels where he must be pushing the selectors for inclusion amongst such illustrious company. Adam Bliar could most certainly take KG's place now though

Watching Chooseday night footy the other nite, WTs v Canberra 06 at Cambo....canberra kick deep to Fitzys corner, he picks it up and is confronted by two, three defenders....he looks left, looks to go right, realises hes f**ked, surrenders, falls to the ground in a quivering heap on his knees making all of about 0.3m.....he was dropped what....once in 8 years??? For a freekin week!

Doesn't seem like 5 years ago I made these comments.

Nothing much has really changed. I wonder if any other club would tolerate a coach with an enviable 40% winning rate and only 3 finals appearances in the last 15 years?

As for who's our new 'Fitzhenry', for mine it's Blake Ayshford. I've never seen a bloke like him put in so many inept and passionless performances like he has this year and continually be selected in the top grade. The bloke's body language on the field rarely changes, there's just nothing there. It's like he's been sedated before he runs out.

As for our long running halves issue, young Jacob Miller was never given a chance. Look what McGuire's done with Reynolds at South's this year. The kid had never played first grade before the start of the year and is now killing it. And don't start me on one of the worlds best 5/8s playing 7. Mind boggling.

For once in a long, long time, looking forward to the off season.
